Ant Williams - Founder & Chief Administrator
Ant Williams is the big cheese. The boss. He also runs the website for British heavy metal band, Blaze. In his spare time, he’s a student at the University of Reading, studying History and Classical Studies, which he is enjoying very much.
He loves his Doctor Who, owning every existing episode on either video or DVD, and some of the reconstructions. Obviously, he’s in charge of a Doctor Who forum, and helps to run it’s companion website, alongside several good friends.
He enjoys spending time with his missus, and when not doing that, trying to do some work. He used to consider himself a hardcore heavy metal fan, but would now describe himself as a fan of “music”. His favourite bands are Marillion, Suede and Iron Maiden. He enjoys classic television, as well as one or two contemporary shows. As for films, he considers himself a bit of a horror film buff, particularly enjoying zombie films. He considers Steve Hogarth and Danny Wallace to be amongst his heroes.

Phillip Madeley - Forum Administrator & Website Maintenance
Phillip Madeley likes his hair. His dad went bald quite early on in adult life, so it's very important to him that it stays on top of his head for as long as possible.
Now to other things. When not doing librarian-esque things for a living, Pip likes to indulge in various hobbies and distractions. He's a bargain hunter, always on the lookout to expand his DVD collection with cheap goodies. He loves his TV shows (especially comedy, and of course, Doctor Who) and is mad about music, especially Britpop, indie rock and a bit of the old progressive rock. He likes Jack Daniels, Marmite crisps, making friends and influencing people.
Pip's a bit of a self-confessed inter-nerd, too. Graphic design (Photoshopping), video editing & DVD authoring, internet DJing, making websites, you name it, he's had a go at it. As one of this community's administrators, his main areas of responsibility are looking after the website, making PS look good and promoting the creativity and talent of its members. And making lots of double entendres and innuendo-laden jokes on the forum. |

Si Hunt - Forum Administrator & Maintenance
Si Hunt is to Planet Skaro what Betty Turpin is to "Coronation Street" - an old bag who clears up every day. He lives in Sawbridgeworth, and on the A414, and is currently trying to watch every episode of "Prisoner: Cell Block H" in order.
When not administrating for (and being controversial on) Planet Skaro, he divides his time between writing for the Vervoid website, listening to the works of the classical composer Lorraine Bowen and trying to make himself more like Delia Smith in all ways. "She's rich, she cooks and she has the breasts of a greek goddess," he says. "What more do you want?".
He wishes his childhood had been more like an episode of "Malcolm in the Middle" and claims that all the world's problems would be solved if they replaced George W. Bush with Dolly Parton. |

Si Hart - Forum Moderator
What can be said about Si Hart that hasn't been said before?
Not much, so I'll say it all again.
Like Pip, Si is also a librarian, having recently completed an MA in Library and Information Management. He begs you not to let that prejudice you though, as really he's quite an interesting person and he doesn't wear tweed if he can possibly help it.
Si is a massive Doctor Who fan, well he's 6ft 4 and likes Doctor Who a lot anyway. A self-confessed sad fan, his particular passions include The TARDIS spinning in space and the work of the Radiophonic Workshop. He's also a bit of a writer, being co-author of Planet Skaro's Doctor Who audio stories and an acclaimed (by Andrew Curnow anyway) Blake's 7 column on The Vervoid.
He has a lovely smile and a pert arse. |

Andrew Curnow - Forum Moderator
Andrew Curnow is a 5’ 4” ape-descendant, who is very bad at confrontation, very good at ironing, and whose biggest claim to fame so far is having the fact that he’s had sex published in DWM. Eerily, his life has some uncanny parallels with that of the good Doctor (or maybe he should just get out more):
1976, Going Home – Sarah and the Doctor both return home in the Autumn; and at the same time, 5-year old Andrew moves from Helston, Cornwall to Carlisle, Cumbria, the first home he can remember, and the sight for the best years of his childhood.
1982, All Change – The BBC gets adventurous, with a brand-new Doctor in a brand-new timeslot. And Andrew moves from the frozen North down to sleepy Devon, ready to start secondary school.
1987, Uncertain Times Ahead – To torrents of abuse from aged fans who ought to know better, the seventh Doctor debuts in the infamous season 24. And Andrew starts A-Levels, changing from a small town school to the far larger North Devon College.
1989, Childhood’s End – Andrew starts his first ever job in December, and five days later the very last episode of “Survival” airs.
1991, New Adventures – The Seventh Doctor moves into print, and within a month Andrew and his brother have moved out of the parental home and into their own flat.
1996, French Kissing in the USA – The Doctor makes his first trip to the USA, and falls in love enough to kiss for the very first time. Andrew’s employer sends him to America for a week, and within a week of his return, he’s met the girl he’ll end up marrying.
1997, New Beginnings – The Doctor’s book adventures get a fresh start, with the BBC starting the run of Eighth Doctor adventures. Andrew marries Gisela, and a baby girl is soon added to the mix.
Andrew now lives in a quiet village in Devon, waiting for an adventure in which the Doctor wins the lottery.. |

Paul Monk - Forum Moderator
Paul blames his dad for getting him into sci-fi. He first introduced him to Doctor Who when he was very little. He was hooked and continued to watch until the Trial of a Timelord when he was briefly lured away by the cartoon violence of The A Team.
Paul was once called “The Green Death Guy” by a Dr Who fan because he spends an awful amount of time messing around with chemical and radioactive waste that no one wants. Its not a hobby and he does get paid for it.
He has always been curious about how things work in the world and when he was a child he was regularly opening things up and taking them apart, much to the chagrin of his dad. This interest led him down a science-y path to where he is now. Whether that’s a good thing no-one’s quite sure. Whilst walking that path, Paul has tried his hands at a variety of things from acting (playing characters as diverse as Dr Who, Geoffrey Fairbrother and Jesus), comic book drawing, building models and painting lead miniatures, roleplaying games, Commodore 64 games (which he still plays now!) and being a bass playing superstar.
He also fancies himself as a writer and has attempted two books, one a history of Hammer Films and the other a Doctor Who New Adventures novel. Neither came to anything much. He is now attempting to write some new stuff. Paul is a doting father of two lovely children and is happily married to someone who hates sci-fi.". |

Rob McCow, once know as Bob,
From the original BBCi Boards.
I won't be slack on the job
At moderating PS's Hoardes.
I've got style, I've got flair,
I used to have floppy hair.
Cow's are special to me it's true
Though I couldn't tell you why.
I live with Si Hart, Geoff and Moo-me-moo
And was in Echoes of The Protii!
I still listen to Big Finish and love the new show
Doctor Who is best though fans don't always think so!
I'm looking forward to meeting you all
and chatting about stuff - anything goes,
There's room for everyone short or tall,
So I hope you have fun here on Planet Skaro!" |

Jonno Simmons - Forum Moderator
Jonno has found his vocation in life again - 17 days before the new Planet Skaro came into being, he started a brand new job, bringing to an end a rather too long period of unemployment following redundancy. Typically, this means he won't be able to spend as much time as he otherwise would have liked to on PS! But every cloud has a silver lining, and at least he can now safely add to his near-30 year old collection of Doctor Who merchandise - from Target books to videos to DVDs, it's a never-ending quest!
Slightly eccentric himself, he also has a fondness for films and TV programmes that harken back to that long lost "mythical" England of years gone by - The Avengers, Steptoe and Son, Dad's Arrny and the Carry Ons of course! Sid James is a particular hero, and he's still trying to perfect Sid's legendary laugh! He loves socialising and can usually be relied on to be present at various PS get-togethers...
