The Doctor
played by Paul Monk

The Doctor once roamed time and space in his TARDIS, righting wrongs and uniting opposed Pel's. He even went to Peladon once, but it was too dull so he left again. Then he was destroyed with his ship trying to escape the dimension of the alien Exec. His legend lives on...

Paul Monk stars in the title role, and also appears in previous stories Echoes of the Protii and Soap of Fatal Death. He is currently working on a script for a future audio play, to be released in 2008.

Nick
played by Dave Tudor

Easy-going Nick has always had "the gift" of psychic powers. The last progeny of a distant race, he was rescued by the Doctor when he was just an egg. Sitting on him to keep him warm until he one day hatched, his mentor brought him up on a life of time travel and adventure and even found a best friend for him in fellow passenger Rob, who stumbled into the TARDIS on the Putney flyover. But Nick has never had a time to call his own, that is until the rip in the fabric of space and time that destroyed the TARDIS sent him spinning back in time. Now at last Nick has somewhere, and someone, to call home.

Dave Tudor makes his third appearance as Nick in the PS audios.

Rob
played by Steve Alexander

Poor, daft old Rob. If there's a chance to put his foot in it, Rob will go up to the groin. In many ways it was a relief to find himself back in Putney, with nothing more interesting to do than to work in Dolci's and listen to Beatles records with his friend Emma. But even finding an alien spaceship buried in a nearby lake can't make Rob happy deep down - he misses his life of time travel adventure, taking tea with Judy Garland one day, fighting Drashigs in twelth century Hatfield the next. But even the Time Watch is quiet these days, and it seems like Rob's space adventuring days are over...

Steve plays the Doctor's young companion, and has appeared in all four stories to date, and has written the fifth, entitled The Christmas Gnomes, due for release in December 2007.

Emma Bonham
played by Kathy Reidtmann

Frizzy haired, bubbly Emma has things on her mind. Her Father is desperately ill, but he's in his laboratory, tinkering with his latest inventions instead of in hospital. Then there's her old schoolfriend Rob, erratic and harbouring an increasingly worrying obsession with her. In fact, he's just called again and invited her over. Still, at least she'll be back in time for tea..

Fresh from her success as Auntie Rosie in Soap of Fatal Death, Kathy returns to PS Audios to deliver a sensational performance as Emma.

Professor Bonham
played by Andrew Clancy

And what of her Father? The damn Doctors have told him he hasn't long left. And just when he's on the verge of the greatest scientific discovery of the last hundred years! Bonham has been collecting, and not all of the rusty components scattered round his lab originate on Earth... Bonham has a plan, and its one that will not only restore his ailing health, but make him the most powerful man on Earth as well...

More familiar with Doctor Who fan productions than most, Andrew Clancy (The Tamaras Crisis) makes a fantastic impression as Bonham in this his first proper starring role in the PS audios series.

Ricky Bonham
played by Ant Williams

Life sucks as a younger brother. It's fine for Ricky's flighty sister Emma to dissapear off for nights on the town, but Ricky's usually stuck on his own at the mansion, left to kick a football against the wall. There cold be fun to be had in his Dad's lab, but that's usually kept locked. Still, you can't keep a young lad out a locked room twenty four hours a day...

Planet Skaro numero uno Ant Williams plays Ricky Bonham.

Brian Epstein
played by Simon Hart

All is well in the Life of Brian. It's 1967, and Brian owns the biggest pop group in the country. And the most handsome fella in the country is on his arm. Every week brings another party, or exciting new band or singer at the Bag O'Nails club in Soho. And if the music, the love and the rock'n'roll sometimes can't keep Brian's inner demons at bay, at least nothing or no-one can take Nick away from him. Can they?

Simon Hart not only plays Brian, but he also co-wrote the story with Si Hunt, and has contributed to this micro-site with an article about writing it.

Black Sam

The locals at the Maingy Dog pirate tavern fear him. Rumour says he can rip out your gizzards in fifteen seconds! You don't want to be enemy of Black Sam. Yet right now, or at least back in 1716, Black Sam has an enemy. And he'll be strung up over Sam's jib sail by nightfall, or be cursed to a watery grave off Scabb Island!

Who or what is Black Sam?

Scarface Jake
played by Wayne Jefferies

Playing the landlord of the Maingy Dog pirate tavern, Wayne makes a delightful cameo appearance.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< An original publicity shot of Wayne. :-p

Peg Leg Pete / Freddie Mercury
played by Martin Penny

The young and talented Martin Penny takes on two incredibly different roles as both a pirate and the lead singer of Queen - and does a fine job of both.

As well as writing a script for a future PS audio adventure, he is also appearing in comedy caper The Man Who Stole Time, an independent film by 'Chrees Marteen' and 'Dolly the Sheep Productions' - click here for more information.

Harold Harold
played by Andrew Curnow

A firm favourite from Soap of Fatal Death, we welcome back forum moderator and all-round splendid chap Andrew Curnow as Harold Harold, the man who sells hats.

Linda McCow
played by Trudi Gard

Linda McCow is Rob's mother, and rarely pays attention to anything he says. She loves her soaps.

Trudi also contributes some splendid original music to this story. Having left our forums since this play was recorded, we would like to thank her for her involvement in our audios and wish her all the best for the future.

Jerry Diamond
played by Dave Lewis

Dave Lewis makes another welcome cameo in this story.

Scurvy Jack / Doorman
played by Pip Madeley

Pip makes two go-temporarily-deaf-and-you'll-miss-him cameos in this story - one as a pirate that frequents the Mangy Dog tavern, the other as a bouncer at the Bag O'Nails. He is also responsible for creating this micro-site, designing the story's cover artwork and producing the 25-minute making of documentary, entitled Making Magic.

D.J.
played by Si Hunt

Last, but by no means least, Si makes a brief cameo in this story as a disc jockey, but he is very much an important part of this production - he co-wrote, produced and directed this story, and has also contributed a bonus feature to the release, the title of which is TBA.
