Ian Levine's Mish to the Unk...
Is it wrong of me to a, think that this animation is marginally better than the official BBC output & b, to want to see I.L's recon of Shada?
Mr Levine is not a happy bunny at the moment. And that's putting it mildly!
Why's that, Dave?
BTW, henceforth that episode should be known as Mish to the Unk. And the audio release should be relabelled as "DMP feat. Mish to the Unk."
Judging by his tweets Andrew, it was not his decision to put this on YouTube - it had been leaked.
Oh I see.
I've not seen the Reign of Terror animation, so can't make a comparison, but certainly the Mish to the Unk animation is watchable enough - it's not very sophisticated, but then neither was the old Shada/Shalka stuff on the BBC site. By the same token, though, it's not a patch on the animation on the Invasion missing ep's. I don't know I could sit through twelve episodes of DMP in the same style, but for what it was, not bad.
And now the video has been removed.
Somebody has obviously put their foot through their computer screen in a fit of pique & got rid of it.
Shame really as it was the closest most of us would come to seeing any if his projects.

Seriously, there's people who are genuinely interested in several of his efforts, and it's a shame we can't always count the RT or Dan Hall among them.
Here it is:-
And there it was....
He's taken it down already!
A copy of it is still up on You Tube at the moment - I've just had a look myself, but didn't get much further than DMP to be honest.
Quick question, what exactly are Gallifrey and The Eight Doctors? The latter surely isn't 'the film of the book' is it?
Ooh I wish I was up early enough in London to have seen this:-
Monet of the Daleks!! :D
This is an interesting series of videos.
This is an astonishing recreation...
That's really rather good. :)
I've just upset myself with this video. Although I do now have a strong desire to watch The Time Warrior & The Hand of Fear again.
"William Hartnell had some strange ideas about steel". What an intriguing comment!!
Did he ever meet David McCallum?:p
Blimey, it's only Robert Holmes!
First time I've seen him other than the very occasional photo. Worth watching!
dimensions in Time rarities!
Blimey!
