I'm sure I read online recently that Gareth Roberts was working on a novelisation of Mr Hart's all time favourite story, but I can't see anything about it on here?
Is this common knowledge/confirmed?

He posted on twtter about it a couple of weeks back i think. It's a good move I reckon. I loved his novel of Shada and I'm certain I will adore this!
Thanks Si - I had a feeling you would have known - bet you can't wait for this!
I thought I'd read it somewhere, but couldn't find confirmation. Well at least I know I didn't imagine it.
For those who are interested, the book's now available via the BBC Shop for £10.99. Huzzah!
I've got it ordered. Can't wait!
It's here! Read Chapter 1. It's predictably marvellous. Yes, absolutely.
I'm glad [emoji2]

It's not how you described it...
Well that was A Good Book. It manages to be as Douglas as it can be under the circumstances, and fills a lot of the gaps in the story, such as the origins of the mask, and how Tancredi and the count manage to have subtly different characters. Well worth reading.
Is this going to also expected to come out as a paperback at some stage?
I would have thought so, Shada did.
So have the 9th, 10th and 11th Doctor novels, so it would be a bit of a surprise if it didn't.
Ours is finally on the way. Very annoyed with BBC Shop. They took the pre-order, then ran out of stock. Obviously other customers were deemed more worthy of their initial stock than us!
Si.
I'll have The Lads go round, have a word with them and bring you back five copies.
How odd. I ordered mine quite late on and still got it in the release day from them.
That's what annoyed me! I complained and they gave me a discount code in compensation. The same one everyone uses every month...
Si.
Well, that's absolutely marvellous, isn't it?
Well it saves them going to the trouble of actually doing something useful.:tut
