But it was hilarious! Even the dig at McCoy!

Tom looked very tanned and well. The McCoy dig was cheap and the Sontaran Experient refrence obscure but it was good overall.
Tom looked in rude health, and JUST managed to pull off the "barking mad" persona that Brian Blessed nailed recently... but at times it felt like he was there to be loopy for the sake of it. I think it'd have worked better if the trend was for "normal" performances and he'd just come on and shocked everyone by being Tom. But we kind of expect them to be zany now, so he had a lot to live up to. The McCoy gag was old and tired and ruined an otherwise entertaining edition.

"I tried that once, in The Sontaran Experiment."
"Did it work?"
"****ing disaster."
:roll
We've been watching Russell T's early 90s CBBC "Mandragora meets Fendahl meets Snakedance meets The Daemons" drama "Century Falls" which stars dear Bernard Kay, Dame Eileen Way (she adored cats so we adored Eileen) and the legendary Mary Wimbush who gives an excellent performance. Such a shame she's no longer with us as she could easily have popped up in the Sarah Jane Adventures.
Richard Briers and the iconic Susan Engel were in the wonderful episode of Inspector Morse we watched last night, Death is Now My Neighbour.

Got to meet Courtney, Leeson, Bulloch, Pearce, Georgia Moffet and a dinky Katy Manning (nice matching gloves'n'boots) at Collectormania in Glasgow today.
Moffet and Manning were looking good. :flash
Not like that. Rude!
We've been watching Tim Piggot Smith on the big screen, in colour, closer than ever before, so close you can feel his fire, so thrilling he must be there in "Quantum of Solange". He gets a credit on the opening titles for being in one scene.
I was surprised to see the Weed creature from Fury from the Deep appear at the end of 'Take That Comes To Town'...
No, that was Jason Orange.:p
Jason Orange? Wasn't that a weapon used in Vietnam? :p
Perhaps we should see his weapon to make sure?
:hide
Jason Orange was surely Captain Scarlet's civilian brother?
Most of you oldies probably know this one, but Bettan from 'Genesis of the Daleks' is the Secret R Whites Lemonade Drinker's wife.
Is constant nocturnal burping considered grounds for divorce?
This is a question I've tackled many times, and the answer is (apparently) no. At least, not yet.
Unless it's the other half's lover that's burping in your ear and waking you up in so doing.
Earlier today I'm sure I saw Caroline John handing over an abandoned dog to the Blue Cross on a tv advert
Yes, that IS her!

Good old Colin Spaul turned up as a pub landlord in the final episode of Inspector Morse. He poured the whisky that probably killed him!
