8! Very enjoyable episode. It's been a huge improvement this series. Better atmosphere.
Well, this one has certainly got us all talking :)
I liked it, although it did seem to take a little while to properly get going. Nice atmosphere, the bits where they were stuck going round and round on the same staircase, etc were very good. Interesting to see the Cyberman - although more man than Cyber, based on how emotional he was getting, and since I wasn't expecting that (I thought this was the final standalone before the two-part finale, not a Utopia-style lead in) it made for a very effective surprise.
I especially liked Graham looking for the little boys room, as it is one of those details that never ever seems to come up in TV shows - Line of Duty is gripping and all, but not once does Hastings stop the tape and say "interview paused because I need the loo". Trust me, once you get into your forties you've always got one eye on where the closest restroom might be... :)
One thing that did strike me, or finally 'clicked' with me, is the Doctor - not in a good way though. In that scene where she's laying into, especially, Ryan for suggesting that one life is better than billions, there was something unpleasant about it. My niggle, then, with the current Doctor is simply that I don't think travelling with her would be much fun, it seems a mix mainly of being lectured at and being treated like dirt. Not good!
