Possibly, although it may get filmed quite soon I wouldn't be surprised if it gets sat on until nearer the actual November anniversary date like they did with the Hollow Crown series for the cultural olympiad and the Bert and Dickie drama which was filmed last summer before finally being broadcast 2 weeks ago.Quote:

Not really a surprise, but very welcome news to have it confirmed!!! I hope it's of the same quality as the Corrie one - like you say Si, that was brilliant. It would be nice if the Who one was on BBC One rather than Four, and models itself on the style and tone of the Corrie drama, rather than, say, the bizarre Monty Python drama on Four a little while back.
I bet Gatiss is having a ball writing this thing!!
I like that the BBC "refused to confirm plot details" - despite their secrecy, I feel confident I could have a good stab at roughly what the plot is, don't you? :)

BBC 4's biopic have always been one of the best things they do - should be superb.
I've been past the Wimbledon Studios many a time, usually because it's very near our nearest Wickes and Homebase which I seem to visit with alarming regularity...
