I think the mystery prize went to Richard last year?
It did indeed, and a picture was posted on last year's thread shortly after it arrived:

Ah yes the fridge magnet [emoji3]
Good Morning! A very happy Day 1 to you. Okay let’s get this show on the road. It’s a Doctor Who question today and someone is already using their joker! Can you identify which book this comes from?

And so it begins.....
It might be time to throw in the towel straight away... :cry :-D
It was a tough one for sure.
Start as you mean to go on, as they say.... Unfortunately, that means a lot of head-scratching at Curnow Towers!! It's come down to a wild guess - not, I expect, the last time I'll be saying that over the next few weeks :)
Point of order - Friday’s answers to be submitted by 10am Saturday and Saturday & Sunday’s answers to be submitted by 7am Monday. As you were. [emoji3]
So we're getting two days questions today are we? You'd think that you had something planned for tonight... ;) :)
Well Day 1 has passed - and it was fiendish!! Two people incorrectly guessed “The Macra Terror” (but I could see their logic) and there were a few other incorrect answers, but the answer was:-

Well done to all of those who got it right!
Welcome to Day 2! Someone is playing their joker today. So there. Simple question - who’s this?

Moving on relentlessly to Day 3 and it’s the old favourite “Seconds Before The Sting”. Can you identify which 80s TV Who story this comes from:-

Don’t forget you’ve got till 7am tmw to get your answers in for both the Saturday and Sunday questions [emoji106]
Fairly confident I've managed to avoid nul points this year! ;)
Day 2 photo was of a (fairly) young NICHOLAS PARSONS in his Arthur Haynes Show days.
Day 3 caught some of you out, with Terminus and Full Circle as some of the popular wrong answers, but it was in fact BLACK ORCHID.

I do believe it's Day 4. I also believe that there 3 points on offer. And yes it's our first music question (cue groans and whoops of joy in equal measure).
Unfortunately in these days of Shazam and other music-recognising apps, Nyder has to be even more fiendish and make the clips super short. Oh and the last one is being played backwards.....
This question is called "A Bridge Far Too". You have to recognise the instrumental bridge from three songs - one from the 60s, one from the 70s and one from the 80s. You get one point for each song correctly guessed. Good luck!

You fiend! And on a Monday morning too!
Ouch! That backwards track is really difficult.
My inbox sure is pretty quiet .... [emoji13]
I normally like the music ones...:cry
The two forwards ones aren't much easier!!Quote:

It's certainly tricky
