Not concrete about broadcast date but January rumoured in a tabloid. I liked this trailer a lot more than the awkward Series 11 trailer.

The rumour seems to be New Year's Day (part 1) followed by part 2 on the Saturday (yes, SATURDAY) 4th.
Which is good news (Saturday) but also bad news (no separate New Year's Special, it's just the season opener) in that we're down to 'just' 10 eps.
But the trailer itself-- very exciting. It seemed more 'exciting' than last year, more 'monsters & explosions & chases' plus I love seeing the Doctor in a tux!
Is that a euphemism?
It's the most confident "We're BACK!!" trailer I've saw in a while. The trailers for the previous series I found too slow and dull.
Maybe we'll get another trailer, maybe not.
The one with the drawn-out list of "guest stars" comes to mind. I wouldn't have minded but I'd only heard of Art Malik!Quote:
