Seems likely this'll hit the papers, doesn't it? hey ho.
Shame as it looks like this'll overshadow what seems to be a fascinating biography. I found the stuff from Jonathan Powell very illuminating... and horrible.

Unfortunately. The sex stuff seems less shocking than his awful treatment of Nicola Bryant.
Yeah, that sounded really horrible :(
Yep this will definitely hit the papers, and possibly overshadow the 50th anniversary celebrations. Not good.
Apparently the book features the question "have you ever had two up you?".
Nice!
I daresay the guano will be flying around publication time...:(
Another review: http://www.starburstmagazine.com/rev...-nathan-turner
That review reads like something out of Harry Potter a.t.D.H.
Ian Levine reckons various papers have been in touch with him recently trying to interview him which he has declined. I'm guessing it's going to hit the headlines this weekend.
Looks like it, doesn't it?
For once, it looks as though Ian's keeping a degree of dignity about proceedings. Mind you, under the circumstances, certain people may have to...
Yes wait till next weekend so it can over shadow the new series.
I wish I hadn't even read the Matthew Sweet review - now I know too much. :(
I would hope Colin Baker's lawyer gets onto them - I know that it says "who is not involved" in the very small print used to caption the photo, but that's little comfort when the screaming headline and picture suggest otherwise. Absolutely disgusting journalism.
BTW, I've not read the book, or any reviews, so other than having gathered there's something in the wind, I don't really know what the story is - is it actually JN-T and/or Gary Downie abusing young fans, or is that over-emotive, 'newspapers jumping on the Savile bandwagon', language for something perfectly legal having happened, which might be considered akin to rock stars having one night stands?
I know there are some children who read this site, so I will put my thoughts in tags. Be warned I am swearing.
Oh for ****'s sake! I can't believe this shit! It's nothing! The people involved are dead! The horse has pissed off! Why aren't these arseholes going after the ministers involved with the Elm House paedo nonsense? (Stay tuned...)
:mad And that's an understatement.
I hope Colin sues the crap out of them.
Starburst's interview with Richard Marson.

The Guardian's review of the book.

Your best bet would be to read these, which should give you enough information about the questions you're asking.
Thanks Logo.
That's absolutely shocking that Colin is in the photo. They're only doing it because of his recent increased profile in the jungle and therefore hoping to boost circulation.

Nice linking to Jimmy Savile there.
Quality journalism. :(

Colin Baker on Twitter this morning said he was considering legal action over that headline and picture. I don't blame him.
How can the Mirror claim this as an "exclusive" when they just massively dumbed down a book review already published in the Guardian?
Scumbags.
