Welcome to Day 21. It’s nearly over! Back to the Target Doctor Who novelisations today. Here is a mish-mash of chapter headings from one book. But which one??

There’s still 7 points up for grabs, so it’s tight at the top ... and indeed the bottom. Hell its tight everywhere [emoji1787]

Oo-er missus!
Do we have until tomorrow or Monday to ponder today's ponderous ponderor, Mr Nyder sir? (I'm not sure that an extra 24 hours will make a scat of difference, but I just thought I'd check when I need to send you a wild flailing stab in the dark by.)
You have until Monday 6am to submit both Saturday and Sunday answers [emoji2]

Thanks!
Posting Sunday's teaser an hour early. So sue me! 4 points available on this one, as I don the long blonde wig and go into Victoria Coren-Mitchell mode. I want to know what the 3 songs are and what is the (tenuous) connection......

Morning! Saturday’s book was
DOCTOR WHO AND THE LOCH NESS MONSTER
Yesterday’s songs were:-
BLACK is black
Rat in mi KITCHEN
Silence in the LIBRARY
All the words in bold point to what you can find on a CLEUDO board (Dr Black being the unfortunate chap who was murdered!)
How fiendish!

Two more days to go - and we’re back on firmer ground today. It’s another inventory, but this time from Nu Who.
Which one story can you find these 3 objects:-

Yesterday’s answer was the story with the least memorable title ever ....
THE BATTLE OF RANSKOOR AV KOLOS

And here we are - Day 24. It’s the last one. Was that a hoorah I heard in the background? I don’t blame you!
Who’s this a close up of?

If I haven’t had too much sherry I’ll try to remember to post the answer tomorrow [emoji6] Come back on Boxing Day to see who’s won!
In the meantime, have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Once again, a heart felt thank you for your tremendous effort in doing this festive quiz. It's such an enjoyable thing to do every December.
Yes and big thanks from me too. Despite days where I Curse your fiendishness I really enjoy the quizzing!
Can I echo the thanks to Dave for all your sterling efforts putting this together. The fiendishness was definitely turned up a notch this year which has added to the fun!
Thank you also to all the other players for taking part again and sharing the joy and frustration.
It's been another funny old year for me and once again December has not been without a few personal challenges but I'm pleased to have made it through.
As the announcement said in the story I watched whilst wrapping presents last night, "Welcome to Christmas!"

I wonder what story that was......Is that another question in the quiz?
It has Kylie Minogue in it... ;)
No clues now, it's on the tip of my tongue......
Yes, thanks again Dave for another tremendous quiz - as fiendish as ever (possibly even more so) it's nevertheless been a delight each day to see what you've come up with next. It must take up a ridiculously large amount of your time, all in order to by turns entertain and confound us daft old things, but it really is appreciated.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas Day!
Well done Dave for organising what I think has been the most fiendish one yet!
Merry Christmas to all of you at home!
Thanks everyone for your kind words [emoji3059]
Merry Christmas from myself, JOHN NOAKES and Shep [emoji12]

Right we have some scores to settle ....

In last place with 12 points it’s .... JONNO. He may be bottom here, but he’s my top Chart Guru [emoji3]

Then we have Kenny with 14 points, and Dino with 16
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Narrowly missing out on a prize with 25 points it’s ....... ANDREW CURNOW. Thanks Andrew for all the eloquent, entertaining answers ... especially the wrong ones [emoji1787] Your subject titles made me smile (or is that groan??) every day.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So in 3rd place it’s .... SIMON HART with 28 points. Well done Si and thanks again for all the daily Wisley Winter Wonderland Weather Watches. Liverpool was definitely a drier place than Wisley in December!
I’ll be able to hand-deliver your mystery prize next week Si [emoji3]

In 2nd place with 32 points it’s RB-J. Well done Richard. The daily desk calendar will be winging its way to you shortly [emoji3]

And the outright winner this year with a tidy, lush 36 points is .... DUNCAN!! Well done to you sir [emoji471]
If you could message me with the email address you’d like me to send the Waterstones e-voucher to, that would be grand!
Thanks everyone to another excellent festive time of fiendish quizzes [emoji16][emoji16]

Thank you again for putting this together. It's always good fun!
Well done Duncan on the win! Well played!
Thank you! That’s what I wanted to know [emoji3]

I think it's probably groan!!Quote:
Your subject titles made me smile (or is that groan??) every day.
Well done to the three who rule-- er, I mean the three who won. And thanks again to Dave for putting the whole darned shooting match together, brilliant!
Wow, I wasn't expecting that considering the terrible start I had. I couldn't answer the very first question this year and was dreading the rest of the questions.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to take part. It's a great quiz that shows the effort you go to to put the questions together. Well done to the other winners and to everyone else too.
Well done, Duncan! :clap
And a big thanks to Dave for organising it all once again this year, it's been great fun (even though if often when I didn't know the answer I'd just have a guess...that's how I usually end up near the bottom though! :-D ) and we all really appreciate the challenge :)
Well done Duncan and thank you again Dave for all your efforts.
The DW daily calendar for 2020 just arrived and I have to say based on the first three days it's already a vast improvement on the 2019 edition which I was glad to see the end of on Tuesday. A great choice for second prize so thank you very much for sending it.
Already looking to the inevitable rematch, which I'm sure is what you wanted to know! ;)

Hi All. I’m very sorry to have to say this, but there’ll be no festive quiz from me this year.
As some of you know, I’m currently back in Wales helping to look after Dad who has end-stage bowel cancer. Things are pretty chaotic and knackering here so I’ve just had no time to do any prep. It’s just the icing on the cake for a really shitty year, but I hope you understand my reasons.
Hopefully the quiz will be back bigger and better next year! Take care everyone.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's completely understandable Dave.
We'll look forward to it being back next year.
Take care x

That's is completely understandable, Dave.
I've had to prioritise alot these last few years, Family first.
All the best, take care of yourself as well as your Dad/family.
I think we all understand, Dave. All the very best to you and your family.
I'm sorry to hear that news, Dave. Of course you have to get your priorities right, family always comes first. Take care of yourself, we're all thinking about you.
