TV Sci Fi - are alternate Universe characters always sexier?

I was just watching a Mirror Universe version of Star Trek Enterprise.

Well I couldn't help but notice how all the evil Alternate Universe characters were sexier than their usual counterparts.

Thinking back, this isn't the only series where this is true ...

Some say Spock in the original Mirror, Mirror was a bit sexier for his beard.

And of course evil Alternate Universe Willow in Buffy the Vampire Slayer was far sexier than normal Willow. Even when normal Willow went bad in a fit of lesbo rage, it still didn't match Vampire Willow.

Am I onto a sound theory?

I was going to bring up alternative universe Willow, we really should have seen much much more of her.

It does apply quite a lot with shows, though not Red Dwarf, both the alternative Rimmer and Lister didn't appeal to me.

The "Enemy Within" with the Shat and his alter ego was a kind of alternate universe. I'm not sure if the aggresive side was sexier but he was more into sex. Poor Yeoman Rand

In "The Man who Haunted Himself" with Roger Moore, Roger's alter ego had a far sexier car, an Astin Martin I think rather than that old fuddy duddy Bentley plus he had the mistress on the side . He was far sexier for sure!
