    Default 20 Years of Chucklevision

Worth posting this Newsround story just for the highlighted section:

Life isn't so funny for Chuckle Brothers star Paul Elliott after he was injured in a motorbike smash.

He was injured when he fell off his bike during a family holiday on the Greek island of Kefalonia.

Paul and brother Barry are the stars of BBC1 show Chuckle Vision. He broke his nose and received cuts and bruises.

Some British tourists stopped at the accident, but instead of helping him out, they shouted out the Chuckle Brothers' catchphrase: "To me, to you."

Paul also got a black eye, but that shouldn't hinder his Chuckle vision.

The comedian said he was enjoying the ride when there was a steep curve in the road - and came across a shepherd with his flock of goats.

He said: "As I braked I lost control and I'm not sure exactly what happened. The next thing I knew, I was on the floor with the motorbike on top of me."
    It's a classic!

    Or maybe not!

Yeah, a couple of handlebars in the knackers would have served him right.

He isn't really called Paul Chuckle?!?

Damn the tabloids - always letting light in upon magic.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?

If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

The Chuckle Brothers - AKA Barry and Paul Chuckle - celebrate 20 years of their BBC children's show ChuckleVision this week.

    BBC News article here.

They're currently making a new series of Chucklevision for CBBC - how many is that now?

I thought it would be too tragic to dig this thread up yesterday. Nice one, Pip.

Should be Series 20 they're currently making. I'm sure they missed a year.

    Series Six was my favourite.

Don't forget To Me, To You as well. That lasted for three series.

The title of this thread makes it sound like a horrible punishment for some awful crime.

You don't allow the kids to enjoy the comedy of the Chuckles, then?

(It's a custom to post a pic of the Chuckles on PS every time you mention them, so)

No i wouldn't let them watch it.
They're not funny, even in a childish way.
