Ther phrase "om nom nom" really bugs me.

It's actually worse in a way, when those that don't speak English very well take the time to try and understand what you're saying, compared to those that allegedly do...

Not actually for no good reason, but p9 of the new Radio Times (or the Tory Propaganda magazine as it should probably now be known ) has riled me so much I've actually written a harranging e-mail to the Feedback Page

An article by Michael Gove. Allegedly relating to the Teachers Awards being shown next week, its a rambling apology to his French teacher for being a knob in his class.
He then goes on about how great teachers are and how respected they should be - this from the man singlehandedly doing his best to destroy the teaching professsion !!!Bazinga !

Especially with those terrible glasses he's wearing now. He's trying to look cool, and failing miserably.

Strange to think that when someone last posted on this thread, Michael Gove was a somebody
Anyhow, other than having had a cough for the past 4 weeks (and so very little sleep), topped up by a lovely virus last week, I'm in the pre-Christmas mood to be very annoyed by silly things.
Today - the most tedious Christmas adverts:
4 - Littlewoods - yes, Marlene . Lets flaunt all the riches people could buy instead of paying their mansion tax, by hawking themselves to the Littlewoods catalogue for the next 52 weeks.
3 - M&S. Hurray for the magic Christmas Fairies, showing us the latest luxury nibbles we could buy to be fashionable.
2 - Lidl. The other end of the scale, where middle-class people suddenly realise that Lidl doesn't just sell food for poor people. "Yes dear, I think we will have to shop at Lidl for Christmas, but only in the dead of night so our neighbours won't see us. Then we can crow at them how our mini-stollens are so superior"
1. Any pefume advert. Let's face it, all your products smell the same, and you're only trying to fool sad men who have no imagination in their present buying. Stop spending millions on making your adverts the most non-sensical they can be and leave us to buy the knock-off stuff from down the market.
And a very Bah Humbug to you all.Bazinga !
