I don't remember either of those. I do recall something about "guiding him in" in "Transit" which for some reason makes me think of waving two table tennis bats around...

I've just seen that 'The Pit', 'Deceit' and 'Lucifer Rising' came out consecutively.
That must have been 3 very, very long months.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Lucifer Rising wasn't that bad, nor was Deceit really when compared to The Pit.

How bizarre - I quite liked "The Pit". Although it was a v-e-r-y odd story, in that it didn't really need the Doctor in it. And it was another over-long book - did Peter Darvill-Evans never think of the trees!?
