If he does a Tenth Planet signing, I may get that screencap out and ask him to sign it for me.

Much like Underworld, The Mutants and Planet of the Daleks, this is one of those stories which would have to come out eventually, so thankfully there's a decent extras package to make up for it

I just hope they include that trailer for the Planet of Evil and Sontaran Experiment repeat which I've seen doing the rounds....

    And here she is:

Pretty! Is it me, or does it look like artwork? Also, 2 discs? Can Steve Perry Vale confirm?

How... well, it's better than most Planet of Evil covers at the very least.

2 discs? Surely that's a mistake? I don't think I could take two discs of Planet of Evil stuff!

    Some thoughts:

    - It can be done! We can have a cover with PROPER colours, not with everything bleached in red, green or lurid purple. See! Now do it every time!

    - Not quite dark enough though.

    - Why have they used the picture of the prop used to create the Anti-Matter monster, i.e the one that never appears in the story untreated? Isn't that like putting an unpainted Myrka on the front of the "Warriors of the Deep" DVD?

    - What's that big vine thing hanging down there. Eh?

    - Return of the 'stick a big purple planet behind them to cover something up'?

It's CALLED Planet of Evil! You'd expect there to be a planet on there somewhere! Even if it doesn't look like the one in the story
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Well no-one complained when there were no towers on the "Paradise Towers" video sleeve, or when "Battlefield" turned up without a single cow-filled grazing area adorning its box.

The one in the story was big and pink, wasn't it?

Well, the 2|e schedule I've seen says 1 disc......but then the same schedule says Time Warrior is 2 discs!

I think it's most likely the artwork has used a previous template for a former 2 disc-er....?

Anyways, I think it's rather pretty.

just had a look at Amazon, and their details also have it listed as one disc - but any way I love the cover IMO it's one of the best covers to date.

    > A Darker Side - With producer Philip Hinchcliffe, writer Louis Marks, designer Roger Murray-Leach, director David Maloney, actors Tom Baker, Elisabeth Sladen and Prentis Hancock.
    > Planetary Performance - a look at the making of the story from an actor's perspective. With actors Tom Baker, Elisabeth Sladen, Prentis Hancock, Tony McEwan and Graham Weston.
    > Studio Scene - the only surviving behind-the-scenes footage from the story.
    > Continuities - continuity announcements and repeat trailer.

I'll have to get this as I don't have it video. Why isn't there a feature on Prentis Hancock?

Has anyone else pre-ordered this for a good price yet? It's out next month but the cheapest I can find it is £14. We got "The Time Warrior" for £11.32p as I recall.

I have a voucher for HMV which they sent me yesterday because they are moving website (or something). Then I realised it was only 5% (65p off "Planet of Evil" - ooh, stop, you're spoiling us!). And you can't use it on pre-orders. Bastards.

5%, are you sure Si? Mine was £5 off any item (not pre-order alas), which was nice.
