Do you know this is EXACTLY the sort of thread I was thinking we needed today. I was on the point of suggesting it.

So thanks loads Pip, this will be very useful! With another two releases confirmed today, we've perhaps got more pending DVD's than ever before and I was starting to lose track of what was coming out when and where it was cheapest.

yep a couple of months ago we were all complaining about knowing nothing after Survival and bang in the space of a few weeks we now have the rest of the years schedual out.

Out of interest dose any body know how many of these confirmerd releases were on this list of rumoured releases we saw at the start of the year.

Most of them were on the list - IIRC the only missing ones are The Time Meddler (which was due, and then postponed), K9 and Company (which might be with The Time Warrior) and The Ice Warriors/Animated Troughton (which might have been wishful thinking at the time).

However, it would be nice if Amazon got into gear and realised Timelash is a cheaper release like all the other e-tailers have done...

I fear the KtT will indeed carry a 69.99 rrp now, but at least Time Flight/Arc should only be 29.99 rrp.

I demand to know what's out in January 2008!

Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

That sounds about right, it's on Play for 23.99 at the moment.

I think 2|e might have put the rrp of KtT up by 20 to pay for the 6 amaray cases.....

Am I the only person who, whenever they see that abbreviation, thinks of the Scots lass with the guitar who sings about 'the other side of the world'?

I'd happily pay 70 to have her sitting on my shelf!

Anyway, good thread, Pip. Just looking at that list, does that mean we're not going to get any sixties releases this year?

If they released 2 versions, one in a digipack at 49.99, and one with 6 separate amaray cases for 69.99, I'd still pay the extra 20 so my shelf looked neater.

I believe there's one more unannounced title this year (we've had 8 so far, and Steve Roberts confirmed here would be 9 this year following the postponement of The Time Meddler), so there's a chance the last title will be a 60's title.

    Fingers crossed!

I think we're all secretely hoping it's an animated missing story and not The Dominators.

And Eye Of Horus (iirc) are confidently stating, again, that it'll be 'The Chase'.

It's only just struck me how rubbish that title is. "The Space Museum!" "The Time Meddler!" ... erm... "The Chase"...

I see you've updated more or less all the prices to make "Blah" the cheapest supplier. Who are they? Has anyone used them successfully in the past? I wonder (if it's not too much work) if we could put the top 3 cheapest suppliers up in each case, so people could see the cheapest supplier that they know is reliable...?

I have used Blah a number of times in the past, and had no problems. I wouldn't have listed them otherwise.
