Not forgetting Robert Glenister, Trevor Cooper, Martin Jarvis in voice over- and Lance from Runaway Bride as well
Oh yes. Funnily, as I was typing my previous post I had a nagging feeling that there was somebody else I should be mentioning. I didn't realise I'd missed out as many as that though!

It was crammed with Whoey goodness. George Sewell (he's 82!) popped up in Beefcake: A Very British Sex Symbol on BBC2 at the same time.

Harry Towb from Seeds of Death turned up in Casualty tonight, he "died" ten minutes into the episode. Also in the same episode was Josette Simon, Dayna from Blake's Seven, she played a council candidate vying for votes.

I just mentioned Casualty in the "YAY!" thread.

Supergran (Gudrun Ure) was also in last night's Casualty playing Violet Brook (look's she's related to Harry Towb's Victor Brook character - I don't know as I haven't watched it yet.).

Patrick Troughton and Honor Blackman in 'Jason and the Argonauts' on Five in the afternoon- rather sobering to think that it must be about 28 years since I first saw that! For the Holmesians among us, also nice to see a turn from Douglas Wilmer as the villain and Sir Henry Baskerville from the 1968 BBC 'Hound' as his son.

And was that not the dulcet tones of Tommy B as the judge, even though it didn't look like him ?

Well I could have sworn it was him, too, but it was a completely different actor.

Perhaps Sir Tom's voice isn't quite as unique as we've been led to believe!

can't understand for the life of me why this has been edited or what it's got to do with a swear filter when it actualy happens to be a real person and their real name..

Larry, I actually edited your post to remove the swear filtering, so what are you complaining about?

Alice was wearing "an exact replica" of David Tennant's Doctor costume and there were homemade (new series) Daleks as bridesmaid in the final Vicar of Dibley.

    Bless.

There was a veritiable treasure trove of faded Who stars in todays Morse: Elspet Gray, Micheal Gough, Clive Swift, Frederick Treves, Arthur Cox were just some.

    Si xx

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Tonight I watched the excellent New Avengers episode Target, which was written by Dennis Spooner and starred Keith Barron, Deep Roy, Frederick Jaeger, Bruce Purchase, Robert Beatty and of course Gareth Hunt and Joanna Lumley. Oh, and it had a prominent police box too - which got blown to pieces by a pram!

Ooh - spooky! Part of the reason I put it on is that it finishes off a tape I started to watch with Wayne last November - Sleeper. Makes for a very strong tape.

Sophie Aldred is providing the voiceover for an ad for a new type of loo-freshener. Bless her.
