She could be leaving the programme without being axed or sacked, surely?

Pip's right - You don't have to be axed to not have your contract renewed!
Freema's doomed!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

For all we know, Martha was always going to leave after one/one and a half season/s. We'll just have to see...

I'm inclined more to believe The Sun than the Doctor Who tv show. If The Sun say she's gone, then she's gone, regardless of whether she turns up on the actual program.

The leading actors are not allowed to do conventions, and I have my suspicions that as soon as her contract's up Tenth Planet will be frogmarching her into their store to sign pictures.

Hooray for her winning "Best Newcomer" at the Glamour Awards. If only she'd got her picture taken with Mrs Becks and her family...

Hooray indeed - she must be doing something right if she was named Best Newcomer.
(Any excuse to post a nice piccie of The Agyeman.)

I was thinking that t'other night as I watched Runaway Bride. For all the faults of that story (such as being written by Russell T. Davies), Tent and Tate do make an entertaining team that keeps it all watchable.
But then I thought back to how I used to find the Catherine Tate show funny when I first watched one or two. Then when I started watching regularly her one-trick gimmick became tired REALLY quickly. I imagine the same would be the case if she was a long term companion.
Still at least she wouldn't be practically invisible like bland Martha is.

I read it on the way to work this morning. She's still not the most interesting interviewee in the world, she spent half of it talking about Blockbuster Video registration policy!

Is that a spoiler? If so, shouldn't it have been marked as such?!
Si.

Is it? If it were, it seems to be in a thread where people are warned about the potential appearance of spoilers. But I'm pretty sure it's merely the same kind of ill-informed rambling nonsense as my earlier post on the previous page.

It never hurts to use the spoiler tags, Dave, just incase. Even Milky uses them in the threads clearly marked to contain actual 100% true spoilers.

Spoilers?????
TV Land
Martha will leave the TARDIS as full time companion after TLOTT. She will not appear in the Christmas special, and the Doctor will have a new companion for Series 4.
Martha will be in the series at some point, but not as a permanant companion. She may also pop up in Torchwood.Last edited by SiHart; 29th Jun 2007 at 11:12 AM. Reason: Added spoiler tags, just in case. hope you don't mind Darren. Si xx
