OK,OK I take the hint...it maybe wasn't such a good idea to change the rules yesterday, after all...it appears it wasn't a universally popular decision, was it?! I suppose I've had better ideas...

It wasn't really supposed to be a hint MacNimon, and to be fair to you it was out of my and others observation that the game was never going to end that you changed the rules.

It's just that, IMO, the new rules still possibly won't ever end the game and I would have favoured a 'sudden death' thing after a certain amount of time, which is why I introduced that and not the other rules for this new game!

Who knows, maybe that won't work either but we can give it a try!

I've got to admit now that I do have a little twang of guilt about changing the rules mid-game, 'cos now that I think about it the changes won't help to finish the game any quicker. (Not that there's really any particular rush!) I think they've just complicated things a bit. And with these rules, once we get down to 2 doctors, if no-one can pick the Doctor that the previous poster did, we really will go round in circles forever! I did change them partly because of various comments over the past few weeks, but also because I agreed with them. I should have just put a bit more thought into it first!

MacNimon, I think the two new rules in the other game are rather good. We're all reasonably intelligent here, and it's quite interesting to have to vote differently to how you voted the day before. It's lead to some interesting situations, though Tom would be gone today if my hands wern't tied!

I think thats a good idea Si - it makes no difference - I think you should just make it 5 and leave all the adjustments in place.
