Default PS Home-Made Doctor Who Videos

Remember that crazy fad on PS last year, when we were making music videos of Doctor Who stories? Well, it's back! Well, it's not, but I hope it will be because after a long break, I'm making them again! Here's my new one:

    The Judoon: Oh Yeah!

Oh yeah. And from the archives (for those who won't have seen them)...

The Monoids: Get Back (The Ark)

    Holiday On Dulkis (The Dominators)

Satan Rejected My Soul (The Invasion)

Bohemian Like You (The Tom Baker Years)

The Sparks Of Evil (The Face Of Evil)

Tom's Going Slightly Mad (The Invasion Of Time)

Vivien Fay: Female Of The Species (The Stones Of Blood)

    Under Pressure (Castrovalva)

The Ballad Of Rose And Mickey (Rose-Boomtown)

Apocalypse Please (Bad Wolf/The Parting Of The Ways)

Supermassive Black Hole (The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit)

Marvin The Paranoid Android (The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy)

For Judoon on the moon! Nicely made Madeley. Excellent stuff & well timed. I'd like to see these start up again as You, Lissa & Mr Bus did some superb work.

    Hmm - nice tune

    Poor Sarah! Poor Robot!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

The best one I've seen is on youtube but I dunno who made it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CirX3gcx2Wg

The lyrics have been matched with the images perfectly.

    Go see!

P-Bal showed me that one the other week, it's really good... I wish I had the attention span to make a video that intricate, though! I bet Wayne would enjoy the music, too.

That youtube vid is brilliant! I'd rather see something with that amount of effort than a few random clips from a story put together with some music that sort of links to it. Very imaginative, funny and good!

I love the matching of the line "slow moving" with the title sequence of "The Dominators".

Well I just say what I think. To be fair, I did make the same criticism when you made your first batch. There are some good ones there- The Monoids Get Back in particular was good, but I just prefer the ones that have more imagination and clever links of lyrics and clips myself. That's why of the many varied videos that PS have done, Steve's Servalan one and Lissa's ones were my favourites. It takes more work (And I know how long Steve's one took) but the results are so much better, IMO, of course.

I think my favourite has to be my 'Apocalypse Please' video, I thought that was a superb editing job (wow, I actually complimented myself, it's a rarity!) and the music fitted the clips perfectly, particularly 2:57 onwards...
