This is a warning to all space farers. You must keep away from this planet. It’s hostile, repeat, hostile.

On a planet with no name, the Doctor finds himself confronted by a faulty memory and some killer plants.

In a distant galaxy, Erimem leads a troubled empire.

Back on Earth, Peri tells her son about the good old days when she used to travel with a man called The Doctor.

This story takes place between 'Planet of Fire' and 'The Caves of Androzani'.
    I'm falling asleep already.

I very much doubt this takes place between 'Planet of Fire' and 'The Caves of Androzani'!

Perhaps they'll kill Erimem. That'd make it worthwhile.

What's Erimem doing in a distant galaxy leading a "troubled Empire"? Why can't it be a happy Empire? Or at least a slightly happy one.

"Meanwhile Erimem is in a distant galaxy leading a slightly happy Empire".

It's probably troubled because it's got Erimem in charge.

I thought she'd had enough of being a leader for a long, long time?

    Another back dated release?

And since when did Peri have kids, I've not met he yet.

Anyway, I thought she ended up with Yacanos? (Since they don't refer to the NA books).

That chap's face is too small for his head! Plus he wants to break out into a full on smirk but he can't quite bring himself to do it.

Owen Teale looks a little like the Absorbaloff and, coincidentally, Nicola Bryant seems to be sprouting out his head.

I hope there's a cheeky line in the story where she says "you remind me of that guard chap on Varos I met once".

Looks to me like they're pushing through a jungle - Owen has stopped because his fingers have gone purple and Nicola is just about to bump into him.

Default 102. Doctor Who - The Mind's Eye

Whilst I'm in the mood & have the web site to hand...

    The Mind's Eye (A Three-Part Story)
This is a warning to all space farers. You must keep away from this planet. It’s hostile, repeat, hostile.

On a planet with no name, the Doctor finds himself confronted by a faulty memory and some killer plants.

In a distant galaxy, Erimem leads a troubled empire.

Back on Earth, Peri tells her son about the good old days when she used to travel with a man called The Doctor.

Mission of the Viyrans (A One-Part Story)
The Doctor and Peri take a holiday on the planet Gralista Social, but soon discover they aren't the only time-travelling aliens in town.

Tut tut! Please pay attention to the bottom of the page where you will find threads for both this story and The Minds Eye. It saves duplicating threads and then one of the mods having to merge the threads and doesn't really take a great deal of effort.

    Thank you.

May be pinning future releases to the top would be a good idea & then unpin them when they are released, the reviews of the stories would keep them up until no one has any more to say & they can then fall off the bottom as per normal, rather than nearly losing them before they've even come out?

Maybe. It does mean the top of the forums get cluttered with items. Thsi thread hadn't even fallen off the page, so I don't see that pinning them up is going to make a great deal of difference if people can't be bothered to even check the front page.
And besides which, there's only two pages of threads on this part of the forum at the moment, so it's not like it's going to take forever to check back.

Sorry if i sound grumpy, but it's been a right sod merging these threads, as I put the wrong ones in the wrong place and thus made a right mess of it...

I agree with Si, we should be okay if we all just be extra careful when starting new threads in future. If in doubt, why not just do a quick search? The Search Forums facility on PS I have found excellent, and only takes a few seconds to unearth if a thread for the thing you are about to start a topic on exists already. Sometimes up to ten Big Finish stories are announced before release, and it would be horrendous to have threads for all of them pinned to the top of the forum.

Ours arrived! Although Si got in the way when I unwrapped it. I said: 'Mind Si!' and he said: 'Yes it is'.

He's just read that and is now crying in pain. Woo!

Well due to not feeling great I was up late & did listen to this.

Not sure about this one. It's a good concept & seems to be a very traditional story. But it just feels all over the place. Jumping in & out of realities to the point that I started to wonder if the Doctor's reality was real or not.
Not terrible but not great. 6/10.

Then we have the Viyrans. First off...Where the hell is Erimem!? She was there a second ago. Now this is probably set some time after Mind's Eye but there is no clue to this. It's all very confusing & not at all clear. But once over this little hurdle it all gets REALLY confusing & once the story is over this does make sense...but I listened to it again immediately & it is definitely worth spending the time doing this as it makes more sense.
Definitely one to re-listen to in the future. 7/10.

I'm quite enjoying it, but only when I realised it was more like an expanded two-parter than a condensed four-parter. It's very much the cousin of "Three's A Crowd". It's the sort of story I'd write. Except without time travel.

Rebecca Front is a treat though. Tanya's breasts......
