Britain Welcomes Prime Minister Saxon.
I've just sat and watched the whole changeover - so what does everybody think about Gordon Brown taking over as Prime Minister?
He said that things are going to change in his speech outside No.10 - do we think anything will change? Or will it just be the same old story?

It's like "The Keeper of Traken".

I predict Gordon Brown will be quite good because his name is reassuringly boring.

To be honest, Brown is just as much a master of spin as Blair ever was. He's managed to portray himself as a competant chancellor. However, the only thing he didn't carry on from the Tory party in 1997 was the fact that he destroyed our pensions. Thanks, Gord.
I don't see things changing under Brown. It'll be the same old story as under Blair.

ai think (or at least I hope) Brown will be tough on Europe and will not give in or surrender any any of our rights and laws to the EEC . Also he needs to really crack down on the amount of imigrants both legal & illegal coming into this country.

Gordon Brown needs a bullet in the head. That should sort out his knackered eye and mouth.

You know, obviously I don't get this whole situation that much. But if in some weird way got rid of Bush just to get Cheney... I think as a nation we'd be more frustrated that we couldn't get rid of the group that got everyone into this mess.

I'm feeling that feeling of false hope and illogical euphoria resulting from getting something new. I think everything's going to be just fine!
