UKTV Drama Doctor Who Weekend
Coming soon to UKTV Drama, a weekend of Doctor Who!
Exciting stuff being shown includes The Pilot episode, The Chase (well some of it), Bits of Inferno, Caves of Androzani, Curse of Fenric, The Three Doctors, Rose, The Empty Child/ The Doctor Dances on Saturday.
On Sunday, A bit more of The Chase, The Two Doctors, Attack of the Cybermen, TVM, Rose, The Parting of the Ways, New Earth, School Reunion, Army of Ghosts/ Doomsday.
Doesn't tell me when it is, but I think it's July 21/ 22.
Si xx
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I remember seeing this advertised on another messageboard, and I believe it's in fact the weekend before; that of the 14th and 15th
Your people? Your people??? They are MY people now!

Shame most of the episodes are already available on DVD, bit of a missed opportunity I'd say, I really don't get the point of showing episodes one and seven of Inferno and missing the whole middle out.... still, there's always The Deadly Assassin

also a shame that most of what they are showing is from the new series think it would of been much better to of had a weekend where they just showed stuff from the old series. (and i don't mean Genessis of the Daleks)

Does it really matter what they show? Us hardcore fans already have them on video and/or DVD, so it's of no interest to us. It does give non-fans/newer fans a chance to see some of the older stuff, which even UK Gold no longer shows.
I'm intrigued that it's on UK Drama though - for the first time ever?

SUNDAY
The Chase (Ep 5): 1965 (William Hartnell)
8am-8.30am
Another chance to see the final instalment of this classic First Doctor story.
Answers the question of where Pamela Nash is working these days.
