I know it's not universally acclaimed, but I don't have a copy of it at all so I'll be adding it to my collection!

Possibly it'll be in a boxed set with K9 and Company which makes this bitter pill easier to swallow but it's still nasty in your tummy.

Hooray!
We didn't have time to give it it's annual airing at christmas so we haven't seen it for a while. I hope there's extras galore.

Goodness me, Contact has been made.
Not a good one, but not a truly bad one. Just averagely average. Nice modelwork.

It could be worse!
Last time i watched it, i enjoyed it more than i thought i would. It wasn't as bad as i remembered.
Maybe i was in a good mood that day.

This should've been a dvd extra somewhere.
It's not good enough for me to buy on it's own merits.

Oh!
Well, so long as i don't have to buy it seperately.

I thought, according to this thread, that it was getting its own release, by an independent company? Or did I get the wrong end of the stick, and that they're only producing the extras?
Oh, and I think that it only fair that since all the other 'Doctor Who' spin-offs get individual releases, 'K9' should be released separately, too.

OK, so the production values are a bit iffy, and, with a bit of extra love and care, it possibly could have been really good, but I think it's quite fun! Knowing her taste in such things, I once showed it to Dee as an example of bad-but-good Tom, and we both enjoyed it enormously.
How long then before all of his stories are released, then? Can't be long, at this rate!
-
7th Feb 2008, 8:57 PM #43why the hell do they have to release two abysmal stories from the same awful season so quick to each other.

7th Feb 2008, 10:08 PM #45Phoenix Film and Television have been commissioned to produce several special feature documentaries for classic Doctor Who releases plus the long awaited "K9 and Company" all for DVD release later this year and early next year respectively.
It makes sense to bundle it with "Invisible", as it didn't sell very well at all when sold seperately on VHS. AFAIKR it was the lowest selling Doctor Who video.

No one's quite sure what the RRP is so some stores are discounting from £19.99 and some from £29.99. I got my pre-order from HMV for £12.99 but they may cancel it.
Zavvi are still assuming it is £19.99 so get in quick.Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?
If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...
