    Default Sci-fi Writers In London

    Sci-fi London are running a series of writers events starting in late August.

    Thursday 23 August: Peter F. Hamilton. Peter will be in conversation with fellow author Adam Roberts at The Vanbrugh Theatre, RADA, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU.

    On 28 August we present An Evening with William Gibson, 7PM at the Congress Centre, 28 Great Russell Street, London WC1 3LS

    Tuesday 25 September we are really excited to be presenting two great writers in conversation together. Susanna Clarke, author of the Hugo Award-winning novel Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell will be talking with Neil Gaiman

    Mike Carey, probably best known for his comic book writing of the X-Men and Ultimate Fantastic Four. Mike will be talking about his latest Felix Castor novel Dead Man's Boots on Thursday 25 October.

    So, that's exciting for me, who works in London and likes Sci-fi. Anyone up for either the Peter Hamilton, Gibson or Gaiman/Clarke ones?
    Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

    The Gaiman and Clarke might be good. 7 is quite steep though.
