I saw the last half an hour of that game. She was making a right noise.

Teenage tennis players these days!! I don't remember Seles and Capriati wearing stuff like that!
    BL-IMEY!!!

At least Ivanovic and Jankovic are still in it, as is (I hope) this little lovely - Ukraine's Alona Bondarenko:

EDIT: Gah! I just saw that she was knocked out in Round Two!

I saw some of that match too. I couldn't tell you what the score was though.

Andy Murray is a set down & a break down in the 2nd at the moment.

After losing the second set, is Murray about to turn it around. he his currently 2-1 down in sets but 3-2 up with a break in the fouth set.

Come on Andy! What a match this has been.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Two sets all. Murray's best comeback ever.

Gasquet seems to have lost the plot. I blame the Centre Court crowd...

    A. Murray could take him 6-3 before 9:25pm
    B. Play will be suspended just after 9pm and Gasquet will tonk Murray on a half-empty Centre Court tomorrow lunchtime.

    Safin is through.

Murray broke Gasquet's serve, 1st game, 5th set.

Gasquet is moaning to teach...er, I mean to the Umpire. I think he wants to go home for the night. Ah, poor baby.

Whoever wins this second game will win the match...

unless Murray bottles it/play is suspended.

Edited to add: Looks like fading light could save Gasquet's ass...

Murray has missed several excellent opportunities to hit winners...no all of them due to poor light.

If Murray can break here, he's won. If he doesn't, they may be off for bad light. Gasquet's drawing it out on his serve, hoping for bad light tp save him.

Desperate challenge from Gasquet there, but it's all over.

The womens event is still wide open with Sharapova,Ivanovic,Kuznetsova and Jankovic all out the highest seed left is Dementieva at number 5 and both Williams sisters are far from playing their best, the title is anyones....

I agree... I might just go and put a few quid on Zheng or Tanasugarn, whichever of them has the best odds, because it's the most interesting women's quarter finals for about ten years. Since the power-players came in (post-Hingis really I guess), something resembling the women's top eight seeds have made it nearly every year.

Murray vs Nadal - hard to see Murray progressing unless Nadal's knee problem gets much worse. Still, we can but see.

On the sunnier side of the Murray household, Jamie and his partner Max Mirnyi are out of the men's doubles, but Murray is partnering Liezel Huber in the mixed and after a bye in the first won the second round match today.

Williams wins the women's singles/doubles and "Britain's" Laura Robson wins the girls' title. Is she the new Hingis (who she's trained with) or the new Annabel Croft (last British girl to win the title)?

I'd rather Laura was the next Hingis than the next Annabel Croft.

She was born to Aussie parents in Australia, moved to Singapore when she was 18 months old & then came here when she was 6. But she has spent more of her life here.

    Epic men's final today.

Some incredible shots from both players in that fifth set.
