Just raising this from the dead because we actually have some good news to report within the world of Tennis!!
Wimbledon 2012: Briton Jonathan Marray wins men's doubles final.
Jonathan Marray became the first Briton to win the Wimbledon men's doubles title for 76 years after victory with wildcard partner Frederik Nielsen.
Sheffield-based Marray, 31, and Dane Nielsen only teamed up three events ago but beat fifth seeds Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau 4-6, 6-4, 7-6, 6-7, 6-3.
AND Andy Murrey is in the final against Federer.
Could this be his year? He has quite a good record against Federer. Fingers crossed.
In other related news, Serena Williams won the women's single trophy (5th time she has done so, matching her sister's achievement) & then late last night won the women's double's with her sister, Venus Williams.

Raised from the dead again to give a huge cheer for the new US Open champion, Andy Murray. With the monkey of Fred Perry as last British winner of a Grand Slam in 76 years now off his back, I'm hoping he will move on to even more success. Although, I still think he will have the last British player to win Wimbledon being Fred Perry monkey still on his back for some time.
