    Default Guess Who

Here's another game I thought we might like to try - choose a bit of dialogue from any Doctor Who story, and see if anyone can guess which story it came from! If you can name the character who said it, even better. The winner chooses the next line/exchange and so it goes on...

    So, first off:

"I've got men with thermal lances standing by."

Think, what man would have enough power to have some guys standing around in a control centre holding thermal lances just incase he needs them?

    Correctamundo!

Ralph Cornish says it at the climax of episode two.

It's certainly an unusual thing to say when climaxing.

It's the one Pertwee I've never seen (although I have it on video ready to rock & roll) so it was a lucky guess!!

Next one then. Which story gave us this:

"There is just one man, one man alone who can save us now!!"

    (Too easy methinks!)

Isn't this just the guess the quote thread in disguise?

    Here's one for you:

"Quite honestly Sir Charles, the whole thing smells of fish!"
