    Default Suburban Shootout

Anyone else catching season 2 of Suburban Shootout on Channel 5 on Thursdays?

I think it's an absolute classic, but no-one else seems to watch it!

It's one of those shows that I'm aware of, but I've never actually sat down and watched an episode. It looks good as well, seeing as it has Alan Partridge's two favourite women, the gorgeous Emma Kennedy and even a bit of Who Watch in the form of Lucy Robinson (Frau Clovis in New Earth)... series one has been released on DVD and we're meant to be getting it in at work, so I think I'll bring it home and give it a try.

I think it's very much in the comedy vein of "small town with dark side", which has been done in the League of Gentlemen and perhaps Little Britain.

But this has the benefit of being somewhat lighter, amusing and not quite as disturbing as those other shows.

I watched most of the first series, and thought it was pretty good. I'm not sure how many episodes they've shown of series two so far (is it one or two?) but I've missed it. The episodes are an hour long now, aren't they?
