I agree that Dave was fab as Father Christmas. He sounds so jolly!
I've been genuinely trying to impersonate the way he says "Doctor Who!" all day. It's superb!

    Hi Everyone,

Only just managed to listen to this as I am currently working away. I loved episode 1. What fun indeed. Once again hats off to Si Hunt, it sounds fantastic, the production is first class. Thanks for the lovely comments regarding my portrayal of Santa, in particular to Andrew. DOCTOR WHO!!!! Thanks to Steven Alexander for giving me such lovely, witty words to say!

Great performances all round, I particularly liked the Gnomes and the saucy reindeer (Vixen??). Oh and the Fridge!!!

Last but not least, my lovely wife Vera. I really think it's true love between Santa and Vera.

Sorry, for not mentioning everyone, but I only have a limited time to post. All the leads were great as always!

    Dave xxxx

    Hi all,

I've just listened to episode 1. Bearing in mind I wasn't too sure whether I was actually going to be in it (meaning that prior to the recording I had only glanced at the script), I have to say that as an opening to a Christmassy story, I think it's really great. I like the fact that the first half of the episode sets up the scene prior to the action starting a little later - it gives the listener the chance to 'get into the atmosphere' before the menance threatens to interfere.
Excellent performances from everybody so far; in particular Dave Taylor. I love the mix if characters - I must say I'd forgotten how over the top I went with Comet's posh accent - it kind of comes and goes too!!!!
And my younger brothers will love the sound effect from the 'Transformers' cartoons!!!
Looking forward to part 2 - oh and once again the traditional Nick gag gets in there............."And lots to share, I see" - BRILLIANT (although you are going to run out of words for that gag soon)!!!!!

Bless you Andrew! Glad you enjoyed it!

And my younger brothers will love the sound effect from the 'Transformers' cartoons!!!
It's interesting you should say that, because I was under directions to use the Transformers sound but I had no idea what it sounded like (not ever having watched Transformers) so I had to find something on-line and hope it was right! Until now I've had no idea how well I guessed, so I'm glad I used the right one!

Great to see you back, Andrew! I love Comet's posh voice, in paticular the way he says 'Genetic-ally!'
I like the fact that the first half of the episode sets up the scene prior to the action starting a little later
Phew! I'd worried about not starting the plot for 20 minutes of the first episode, but it seems to work OK... this time!
And my younger brothers will love the sound effect from the 'Transformers' cartoons!!!
Transformers were an essential part of my Christmases between the ages of 5 and 9, so I wanted to include them in some small way. Many a Christmas evening has been spent putting the stickers on Wreck-Gar, transforming Kup for the first time and searching Optimus Prime's bloody hands again.

Thanks to Steven Alexander for giving me such lovely, witty words to say!
Aw, shucks Dave! :embarassed Of course, it's all down to the delivery...
Last but not least, my lovely wife Vera. I really think it's true love between Santa and Vera.
    Isn't she lovely?

More of the same tomorrow... beware! The Gnomes are coming!

I think David Garfield's performance in The War Games may have been the inspiration for the voice...

I'm proud that the Robot Fridge gets top billing. It's very misunderstood you know!

In true RT fashion, the character with the least lines in the episode gets top billing!

Yay! Today's episode features the audio debuts of Mr.Ashley Culley (Cullsoft) and Ms.Ali "Aliiie" Bongo!

It also features the words 'Schloer', 'trousers' and 'handbag' and the phrase 'I've missed you, Nick!'

Woo Hoo! Excellent episode, the story is really starting to get going now...not that ep 1 was slow.

I loved Dave's subdued 'ho ho ho' in the face of danger.
