I bought myself a very tasty and enjoyable Belgian Bun. Well I figured since Steve is going out for dinner tonight, I deserved a treat too.

    Si xx

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Ah! I must check your list more often.
I've been umming & ahhing over it for a while, based on the slightly unfair premise that because it's a Stephen King work that i've never heard of, it must not be very good.
But i decided to give it a try as once again i needed something to get up to the free postage mark, So i'm glad to hear you think it's good.

Bought myself a couple of PS2 games:

Formula 1 2006 for £11.67 from The Hut (using 10% discount)

Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (Platinum) for £9.99 from Play.com

Should keep me busy enough in the winter months.

You decided against the one off eBay then.

It was tempting, at only 99p plus £4.99 postage for a game that doesn't work.

Balls, I've got two copies of PES 06 now. I originally ordered it from The Hut and then realised it was £2 cheaper at Play, so despite cancelling it at The Huts literally minutes after I ordered it, they've let it through. Idiots. I can't be arsed going through the bother of sending it back so I'm just going to eBay it, hopefully I'll break even as it'll be new/sealed.

Anyway, put £15 on my phone earlier and recieved 10% back (£1.50) for doing it via the t'internet. Can't be bad!

Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear! We've spent.

    Borders:
    The Glittering Storm:

    The Thirteenth Stone:

And again, the Glittering Storm, this time for Si's nephew!

Borders being done, we went to Liberty's for tea and scones. It was just under £10 a person, but well worth it, absolutely delicious!

Next purchasing house was Forbidden Planet:

    About Time 4:

    The Prisoner Musics:

Then to FOPP! Re-opened and back in business! It's the £3 pound sale as well, so we splashed on:

    Get Carter

The Velvet Underground Live in 1993

    Mitchell and Webb

    The Avengers CD

    Transformers - Lou Reed Style.

Kurt Vonnegut: Slaughterhouse Five and an ELP album for Si's dad. Probably.

My credit card wept when we walked through Liberty's though. An 8 foot high anglepoise lamp - £500! A sofa - £3,000! A shabby rug - £9,000! A lifesize reindeer - priceless!

I've started my Christmas shopping with three purchases for a boy who shall be nameless. One from the newly re-opened Fopp and two (TWO. That I remember) from the interweb.

Tell a lie, I started my christmas shopping in June when I bought some cheap as chips DVDs from Impulse Lazer for my da'. I intented to give them to him at the first available opportunity but then decided I may as well wait till christmas. It's a good story.

I see two other guests are erased from history! Ahem.

I have bought much odd crap over the last few days, but hurrah for the cheapo Sarah-Jane audios, which I've listened to, and they're quite enjoyable!
