A pricey weekend for me! £20 on drinks, an Indian meal, train fare to London, lunch from Burger King and dinner out at a pub. But it was worth it, as it was such a top weekend!

All that for £20 sounds like a bargain to me!

    MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH!

Went to Glasgow on Saturday and only spent £30... and most of that was on food in M&S. Bought nowt from Fopp*/HMV/Missing/Avalanche/Borders.

    * also managed to resist Fopp's £3 a pop Brittas Empire DVDs for the fourth time this year.

Muppets Take Manhatten was a huge bargain, it's true. I'm really looking forward to seeing it too.

Is that a hint, dear? We can't watch it until we've bought and watched all 7 (?) seasons of The Muppet Show!

As well as buying Dicks' acclaimed novel 'Doctor Who - Kinda' in Oxfam, I also bought some second-hand books which may help with my course. In addition, I bought a red nose, and a bottle of Red Nose Red wine.

Don't say I'm not doing my bit.
