Harry's got a new TV show on the way...

After years of poking fun at the likes of Eastenders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale on TV Burp, Harry has finally had the chance to write and star in his very own soap - all in his own uniquely hilarious style.

Along with Harry the cast includes: Mark Benton (Northern Lights ITV1), Liza Tarbuck (Extras BBC2), Tim Key (Comedy Shuffle BBC3), Greg Davies (if.comedy award nominee as part of We Are Klang) and many other famous faces.

Tickets are available for a preview in London on the 7th if anyone fancies it.

I'm pleased to see that this has Mark Benton in it, he's generally brilliant. He'll be banking on this being a nationwide success, because the key to building a soap is like building society.

No sign of Soaptington but Burp is returning for a new series soon, and there's a DVD for Christmas:

I'm a really big fan of Mr Harry, and do like Tv Burp a lot, but I wish he'd do something a bit more innovative, like his old C4 show and Fruit Corner. I suppose he might've of in Soapington Way, but that doesn't look it'll be aired till next year now unfortunately (despite, from what I can see, having already been filmed).

I agree with Alex. Harry Hill is very inventive and whilst I like TV Burp, it is very lazy and seems like its the easier option, rather than give him another show.
A bit like Vic and Bob doing Shooting Stars all those years.

I agree too, for what it's worth. The Harry Hill Show was far more inventive and clever. I miss it. They should make more!

On the plus side we're off to be in the audience for one of the new TV Burps!
