    Default Doctor Who In Dorking

I wonder if Paul knows about this?

    Dalek Visits Dorking Museum
The Dr Who Exhibition has arrived and may be visited at normal Museum opening times

Dr Who Exhibition is now open and on Saturday 20th October attracted over 200 excited visitors. This Dalek, Ice Man and other monsters, merchandise, props, memorabilia and Studio items from the first BBC series are all on show. The Exhibition will continue at the Museum until the end of February 2008.

    Perhaps we should visit?

    Si xx

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Excellent. I never knew about this. Dorking museum is one of those daft small town museums than has a bit of info about basket weaving and probably chickens.
I've never bothered to visit before but maybe this will be fun. Let me know if you want to take a look and we'll trundle down there with the kids.
    Tabs will love the dalek!

We could bring Luke with us. He'd like it too I'm sure.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much though. Its probably a tatty old dalek and a couple of costumes, a melted Ice Man and Gallifreyan basket weaving and Skarosian chickens.
Anyway just let us know a day when you could get down.

Ice Man - Ice Warrior? Some info you might want to know:

The museum, at The Old Foundry in West Street, is open Wednesdays and Thursdays between 2pm and 5pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

Perhaps the Ice Man is that unfortunate chap who was found preserved in ice and dragged around various exhibitions? Unless it's just crap local journalism!

Thanks Pip. There's some really old duffers on the website.

It's very close to the cafe my sister cooks at, (which was used as a location for Nighty Night) so we could descend on her and demand she make us food!

I thought it was the Jagaroth who wanted the chickens?

The Ice Man wouldn't be an Ice Warrior surely? Or a bucket of water? "I'm sorry but he tried to escape and we had to use the blowtorches on him."

The Ice Man is now indeed an Ice Warrior!

Myself, Tabby, William and Kathy shall be going to the fabled Dorking Museum Dr Who Exhibition this saturday.
Apparently its been so successful that they've extended its run and now have a Cyberman and The Blob in their collection.
The excitment at finally seeing the Blob may be too much.

Photos to be added next week.
