Chin up lads - you're Doctor Who fans
I've been reading about people's experiences with the missed David Tennant and Freema signings.
Part of me is really disappointed for them, but part of me says "c'mon, you're Doctor Who fans, disappointment is your middle name".
So my list of reasons why Doctor Who fans have to be the most hardy of all sci-fi fans - please add to it ...
- that 16 year "hiatus"
- most old episodes had their video tapes wiped only to be used for Dads Army and Steptoe and Son ...
- Star Trek had matte shots and special effects, Who had a model on a string
- Tegan Jowanka
- Adric
- the Varden
- any Jon Pertwee story ...

6 part video stories split over two videos and costing £19.99 - until a few years ago when they brought out all 7 parts of The Daleks and stuck them on one tape! It was like a slap in the face.
A spokescamel from BBC Enterprises said: 'After years of you spending twice as much on these stories, we're now prepared to admit that you didn't have to! We could have just crammed them onto a 3-4 hour tape! Mwuhahahhasssssspppppit!'Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

The fact that 99.9% of Doctor Who fans are moaning old gits, who don't even like any of the show itself.

The fact I was born during 'Colony in Space' one of the dullest stories ever to grace the screen!
One Day, I shall come back, Yes, I shall come back,
Until them, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties, Just go forward in all your beliefs,
and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine!

That can be arranged...
Until then, here's some music. Grief! It's very loud and very 1980s. Why must Who fans be forced to put up with Keff McCullough again?!
