Ultimate Foe Novel (split from The Vervoid) - Big Pics

As I said in The Vervoid thread I have dug out some pics of the proof. Sorry about the quality of the "rostrum work" but this has been rather rushed and I couldn't book Ken Morse.

It actually isn't the typeset vesion at all but much earlier that. Typeset proofs are the proper page size nut just not bound - as with this pic from the Paradise Towers hard back (which I don't think was ever published)



I don't know who Paaaa Ruuuuuu was, but I wonder if their version was any better than Nick Mallet's

Anyway The Ultimate Foe is a pre-typeset proof and of A4 size











All of these pages are properly printed.

However the Epilogue is different. It is on different (flimsier) paper, and isn't printed, but rather typed or desktop printed from a ribbon. Corrections are made with tippex and hand written in biro.







This indicates that this section of the novel was written well after the rest of the book was submitted, and I suspect that Nigel Robinson penned it rather than Pip and Jane.
