Just seen this perplexing thread. I have always thought the Dalek films were great fun, but they are definately open to critical debate. You should have just started a 'Only post if you like the films thread' if you only wanted positive posts - surely this is the whole purpose of message boards such as PS?

Hahaha, very amusing. Well done to all concerned. This thread was a joke wasn't it?

(incidentally does the fact that DrWho2150 no longer has a post count mean he's deleted his account or something?)

Yeah, me and Larry can never agree on how rubbish or "classic" Jon Pertwee stories are, but I still end up buying him a drink now and then regardless. It's the PS way I guess.

The question is: Was his account deleted at his own behest or was he "volunteered".

I will not tolerate such negativity towards Planet Of The Daleks - please do not post on this thread again.

C'mon - Jon Pertwee slept through most of his performance! Plus we find out the Doctor used his sonic screwdriver to assemble some truely dodgy fitted wardrobes in the Tardis.

Whatever else you think of the films, you've got to applaud the decision to use elongated beaker-like lights on the Dalek domes. Possibly the best design decision since the wheel.

Yep. I think that's a positive comment. You can have that one.

That's true, as far as I'm concerned Peter Cushing is probably the best actor to play the part. Followed by Christopher Eccleston, Paul McGann & Patrick Troughton.

On OG, such disturbed behaviour would be drowned out by the background noise ...
