I was rather hoping that someone would say "It's as easy as Pi."
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I believe Ian Levine thinks it's as easy as pie.

There are rumours in the new issue of SFX that The Best Easter Egg Ever is an extra commentary by RTD and David Tennant...

I was hoping it was that brilliant thing from Youtube.

I've been re-reading the RT Article for this DVD today and I have to say I'm really excited. It's always been in my Top 3 stories, is perhaps the quintissential childhood Doctor Who story for me, and I can't wait to see it all cleaned up and restored with all those bonus features!

They said that the brilliant You Tube vid would be unclearable, alas. But like you Si, I'm really looking forward to it too. It'll be nice to have the proper version on shiny disc at long last.

I won't be going near disc 2 apart from the extras.

We can all watch the story as it was intended at last!

It's the only title announced so far this year that I'm truly excited about. Black Orchid should be good, but the rest are a bit 'meh' for me.

    Here's the inner cover:

The '25th Anniversary Edition' bit rapes my roundel lovin'hood.

A boy nearby where I'm sitting at the moment has just commented 'That f*cker Tom shouldn't be on the cover at all'.

Dissapointing that it's just the same as the outer one. Too gold, wrong Tom, and not really exciting enough. If any story was colourful and larger than life enough to deserve not to be drowned in one very sensible colour, it's this one. There's no sense of all the monsters that are in it either.

But I wouldn't have thought they'd want to put Lis Sladen and Carol-Ann Ford on the front cover.

Where and when exactly is that photo of Tom from, does anyone know? Or is it 'contrived'?

It's a reverse of a rehearsal photo from Genesis of the Daleks where he's looking at the safe in Davros's office, I believe.
