Welcome aboard Christmas everyone - unless you're Mike, in which case well done for making it second-hand by the time the rest of us have got a look-in!
Happy Christmas.

IN THE WORDS OF SLADE IT'S CHRISTMAS. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE
I hope what I just wrote made sense, it did when I was thinking it.

Well the countdown to Christmas begins again!
So, how organised are you this year?
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Getting there. Still have some shopping to do but I at least have some ideas of what to get.
At the moment 'm probably looking forward more to all the exciting things going on during the last week of advent (including lots of carol singing!) rather than the big day itself.

At the moment, not at all. Some years we are, some years we... aren't. I fear this may be the latter!

I managed to write and post four Christmas cards at lunchtime today which I'm quite pleased about as I normally only manage hand delivery.
Getting there with the presents. Bought wrapping paper yesterday. I mustn't forget to bring secret Santa present and my outfit for the Christmas do with me tomorrow!

I won't be opening my Secret Santa pressie till Christmas Day. Now that's willpower! Hoping to make a start with writing the Christmas cards tonight. I'm so behind in my planning this year. I suppose that's understandable given my change in location, job etc.

Lots of Christmas related stuff going on in my office today including from 12pm until 3pm teams from my office will be doing charity collections in the Southwark and London Bridge areas for for CLIC Sargent ( Helping children with cancer) - the exact whereabouts of each team is going to be announced just before midday so I will tweet my location once I'm out and about!

My team won with a collection total of £494.13 The whole of UBM Conferences raised the princely some of £3100 across six teams.
Afterwards we had the office Christmas do and I drank far too much red wine, missed the last train and had to get home using a combination of buses and an expensive cab from East London and spent most of today in bed.
I am feeling a bit more normal this evening and I did make it to rehearsal for the Valentine Singers Christmas concert which is taking place in Barkingside tomorrow night.

I've still got some time to go before my Christmas do. I wonder if having it so close to Christmas is a good idea? Oh well, we'll find out next friday!
Hope you feel better soon Richard and well done on the collection total!

got to really start wrapping my presents the one thing I really hate doing what makes it worse is that my mum was with me when I bought her pressie and I know exactly what she has bought me as I was with her when she bought it - just makes the whole wrapping thing a pointless waste of time.
