Default It's all a matter of time...

I've noticed our forum clock is a bit out of whack, it thinks it's an hour later than it should.

To fix this, go to your User CP, then to Edit Options, then down to the bottom of the page and you'll see Date & Time Options - make sure it says "GMT -1" and select "DST corrections always off", as that seems to be the cause of the trouble.

It's fixed it for me, anyway.

Hmm, it was okay for me and now it's gone wrong again. Odd... I think it might be our server, the time must be set wrong.

This is definitely a issue with the server, I will have to contact our hosts.

Not sure when it will be fixed, given it's Christmas, but I'm sure you'll all manage. Just put a clock next to your PC.

I just tried to post a reply to a personal message and got the above - there's definitely time issues on these thar boards

I tried again but same thing - do you want to give it a test yourself, perhaps it's just me?

I've removed the floodcheck - so you don't have to wait to send another message. Has that fixed it okay?

Oh, and on the upside, my clock has returned to normal - it's set to GMT (London) and it's the correct time. Is everything else okay?

Thanks Pip I've sent off my message and yes the clock now appears as normal so I might be able to post before I did earlier!

    Anyway thanks for that

Can we have the time reset to BST please, or do we have to do something to our user options this time too?

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Just do the same as last time Si, as per Pip's instructions, only the other way round this time, of course!

I'm sure i never changed mine last time. I thought Pip had reset the master clock, as it were.
