Default Dolly Parton - New Album "Backwoods Barbie"

    Out February 5th!

Is anyone else looking forwards to this?

The cover is not quite as iconic as usual, but I have high hopes for the music within!

How can the cover be not iconic? Pink net dress mixed with leopard skin mini and a giant wig?! With a neon logo?! C'mon man!

She looks like Pete Burns with his blonde wig on the cover.

It's very retro with the old 80s logo back in business and the pink border.

    Tracklisting:

1)Better Get to Livin' (Dolly Parton, Kent Wells)

2)Made of Stone (John Squire, Ian Brown)

3)She Drives Me Crazy (Roland Gift, David Steele)

    4)Backwoods Barbie (Dolly Parton)

    5)Jesus & Gravity (Dolly Parton)

    6)The Lonesomes (Dolly Parton)

7)The Tracks of My Tears (Smokey Robinson, Pete Moore, Marv Tarplin)

    8)Only Dreamin' (Dolly Parton)

    9)Somebody's Everything (Dolly Parton)

10)I Will Forever Hate Roses (Dolly Parton)

    11)Cologne (Dolly Parton)

    12)Shinola (Dolly Parton)
12 tracks, mostly Dolly originals and a canny cover (Stone Roses!) is what we want. Hurrah! I bet "Jesus and Gravity" is a hoot too.

"The Lonesomes" sounds like a Hartnell era BBC Book set in 18th century Sherringham.

We laugh but the May '08 McGann Big Finish is set in 19th Century Sweden. You couldn't make it up.

Another surefire winner from Big Finish then.
