My New Year's Resolution is to see Paul McCartney live.
[bad taste] Do you know, that's the exact opposite of Heather Mills' New Year Resolution? [/bad taste]
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

So... my New Years Resolutions for both 2008 and 2009 were to lose weight.

Those who've seen me since will know that I eventually managed it.

However, I'm moving to America soon. Where no-one walks. Thus, one of my resolutions for 2011 will be to avoid putting on too much weight.

Beyond that, I also resolve to keep in touch with all my friends back in the UK, whilst also setting up my life in the USA

    I believe he has.

Congrats to Ant & any others who've completed their resolutions.

I've lost a stone and a half in the latter part of this year, so, I want to lose another 2 stone by May 2011. Also, I need to stay in touch with family more. They have spread out to various parts of the UK and I haven't been in touch with some of them for months now.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

If it's like today, it'll be two glasses of champagne at lunch, two pints of ale in the afternoon and an hour's exercise with weights in the evening!

You're going to do that every day? You'll look like Keith Chegwin by next Christmas.

Definitely taking a leaf out of that book but also some more specific resolves:

    1. Spend time with people whose company I genuinely enjoy more often
    2. Eat more healthily and take better care of myself generally.
    3. Watch more of the DVDs I own especially Doctor Who ones
    4. Write more stuff, especially stories, and resurrect my appallingly neglected blog.
    5. Not be sitting here in 12 months time still wondering what to do about my non progressive career path.

    That'll do.
Yeah... never did manage it in the end. So I might roll it over for this year.

I only succeeded in one of my resolutions last year - to stay in touch with people.

Otherwise, I managed to put on over two stone since moving to the US!

So, my resolution this year is... to lose the weight that I put on since moving here!

I'm with you on that boat. Since June 2010 I've put on at least 25 lbs. I did a diet contest at work this past fall and lost about 5 (I wasn't very committed), but I put it back on right after it was over. There's another one starting up in a couple of weeks though...
