Probably - I don't know much about the album, but that godawful, commercial radio-friendly title track ("Wooo-hoo!") irritates me beyond belief.
Any road, I fancied a bit of Led Zep, so I'm listening to that there untitled fourth album of theirs. It's quite good, dontcha know.

We listened to Neil Young's "After The Gold Rush" for the first time the other day whilst making Si's ma a CD and we shocked by his falsetto vocal. We'd always assumed he'd be more gruff!

A weird compilation I must have made God Knows When. It seems to be a sublime mix including Tori Amos, Geri Halliwell and Barbara Dixon!

It is. I've been humming it for ages now, so it's good to finally get hold of it. I've pre-ordered the new album too, so we can have that to look forward to when we return from NZ. 12 Stops and Home has been played many, mnay times since we got it, so I have high hopes for the new one too.

It's a great single - almost a full on dance track! It's charted in the club chart too. It's growing very slowly on iTunes unfortunately, so seems unlikely to grab the number one spot when fully released. I hope the album is as strong as the first one.
I'm currently listening to every number one single in order! Just done Georgie Fame - The Ballad of Bonnie & Clyde. I'm appreciating them more than I thought I would, not really being a fan of old music.
I've been adding cover art to itunes too as I go along - pop stars in the 50s really were ugly! Poor old Winifred Atwell! Tab Hunter was a bit of alright though, and Adam Faith would've got it.

Adam Faith was a silver haired fox in "Love Hurts". You can't blame Zoe Wanamakerlovetoyababy spreading them wide.

I've not got much time for The Feeling, I don't hate them, it's just because their music is so overplayed.
I really don't like run of the mill crappy indie bands like The Enemy, Scouting for Girls, The Kooks etc etc...

We heard a song by The Enemy I think the other day and it was awful. Really out-of-tune singing.
Or maybe I'm getting old. I like the Britpop bands, like Def Leopard and UB40.

The Enemy are rubbish. At leats with The Feeling you have the... ahem... feeling they're having a bit of fun. Scouting for Girls are a rubbish band with a rubbish name, but i have to admit i quite like The Kooks.

I get "The Editors", "The Enemy" and all these Radio 1 staples confused. It seems weird voices are all the rage these days.
"The Feeling" covered "Work" by Miss Kelly Rowland today on Radio 1. Not heard it but it's a brave choice!
We've had this on whilst Harry Pottering around the house -
Ian Levine is credited on one track and not one SAW tracks in present!

I'm currently listening to Star by Belly which I picked up in a charity shop. It's like 1993 here!
I might play the Lemonheads and the Breeders next.

Like Si (I suspect!) I've been inspired by 'Ashes To Ashes' and (also watching lots of Davison stories) to listen to some good old early eighties new wave and stuff - currently the brilliant 'Love Is A Wonderful Colour' by The Icicle Works.
