Marco Polo 4 Over long, boring & could have been a good 3 or 4 parter, even for 1964.

But that's what makes it so good. The length adds to the epic feel, or if you like, the feeling that their trip really does take a long time to complete. I like the fact that the running time gives a chance to explore the culture in different ways to usual, like Ping-Cho's puppet show. That adds depth and texture and interest to the story for me that would be missing in a 3 or 4 part version. It's a bit of a favourite here, which is why I keep adding the points back on after you take them off!
