    Today we bought -

Christmas trinkets for a doomed project. A duvet and cover so a boy (who shall be nameless!) can kip in style on our floor this winter. Orgasmic veg and meat for far too much money, and the new Prince album for 40p from the Cancer Research Shop. It shall never be played.

    Si.

Whilst shopping in Tesco, i picked up Paul Verhoeven's WWII thriller: 'Black Book' for £6. I thought 'Sod it, I'm sick of waiting for dvds in the post!', but having just checked; the cheapest online price is £6.99 from Play, anyway. So Yay for Tesco for providing me with something to watch tonight, & for my 6 Clubcard points, too.

I finally got paid today (and rather nice it was too!) and so I treated myself to The Key To Time, Planet Of Evil and Time-Flight/Arc Of Infinity.

Dave will be living on Tesco's Value Cream Crackers for the rest of the week, with just enough money left to make half a pint of mild last all night.
