Talking of stories we could do, our "Black Orchid" looks like it will be here for Saturday, as it's already been posted!

I hope you aren't locking your Black Orchid in the attic and employing a large-lipped-lout to guard it.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

It hasn't come! But it may do today. As Alan would say, it's not a dealbreaker.
Hurry to HaRpi my lovelies, for moist chocolate cake and Keith Drinkel's bare buttocks. And the inflatable sofa is back Back BACK!

He's not joking about the chocolate cake, Si & I made it last night - there's a little bit of Pip in it.
As for Keith Drinkel... I've seen the back of the DVD cover... eek!

It's been a productive and fun weekend, and I can confirm that we now have some more plays in the can. Yes, characters such as Thrace, Jann Cordelis, Byron Zunestra and Mills have been brought to life wonderfully by our hardworking cast of actors and now the long process of post-production begins.
I'd like to thank the cast of Heist! for their fast work yesterday and for nailing their parts so quickly and wonderfully! I'm really looking forward to getting on with all the production to really bring it to life. You've done the hard bits though! Oh and thanks to Andrew Clancy for his remote additions to the play!
And thanks to everyone for a great weekend. It's been wonderfult o ctach up with you all again. Special thanks to Si and Simon for looking after us so well (though maybe not for Drinkel's Winkle though )

I had a great time, although I know I wasn't quite as lively as normal. It's car journeys which do that to me. Fortunately the drive back was made easier by repeat play of Steeleye Span.
It felt like 80s and 90s nostalgia was the thing for this weekend - which is disturbing as I've come to realise my 80s and 90s weren't much fun.
If I were a Muppet, which Muppet would I be ...
Still I had time to work on my grudge list of the 80s ...
1) Phil Collins
2) Sarah Greene
3) Mike Smith
4) Pat Sharpe
5) Richard and Judy (heck, pick any decade)

Thank you to EVERYONE for coming to see us this weekend and for making it such a memorable occasion. A special thanks to all of you who put so much effort into your wonderful performances, and to Pip for coming early and helping with cakemaking/airbed inflating/other preparationary tasks!
Oh, and I can confirm that I've spent a joyous afternoon starting post-production on the second story and the first scene is complete... and it's all sounding FANTASTIC! Well done everyone!

I've had a wonderful weekend, seeing so many good friends for the first time in what seems like ages, and, in Oh Martin!'s case, for the first time ever (good to meet you, sir!). I had a good time recording some great scripts, and watching some strange delights on Saturday evening - even though Drinkel's Winkle has probably scarred me for life.
Many thanks to Si and Simon for the hospitality, and to everyone for the magic!

I'd like to just echo Dave and thank Si and Simon for having me over, and being such wonderful hosts. I had a fantastic time, and loved every moment (ahem, well, bar the aforementioned Drinkel's winkle incident!), the only downside was how rough I felt this morning!
Anyway, thanks again, and I can't wait to hear the finished plays!"RIP Henchman No.24."

I had a great time as always and it was lovely to see everyone again.
I think we probably saw too much of Keith Drinkel though.
It was lovely meeting Mike for the first time and his perform was great, if a bit on the scary side
And Martin now feels like a permanent member of the gang now as well.

It was a lovely weekend. Unlike Alex, I woke up all bright eyed at 8am, ready to start the day. I felt like death by 2pm though - just in time to find myself on the Motorway.
It was nice to fit in Steve's play as well, as this allowed me to play a lot more softer a character, rather than the shouty and tantrumy Zunestra.
Doctor Who villians who shout and throw tantrums have a great tradition though!
My alarm clock went off this morning, and I almost convinced myself I had one day left of the weekend - I was sadly mistaken.

We're building up quite a tradition of good original villains in our plays - to Scott, Kestero and Professor Bonham we can now add the villainous Leckard, Byron Zunestra and the very-sinister-indeed Tor Gerane!

I had a great time, and my thanks to the Si's for their gracious hospitality.
Also, my hat goes off to everyone who brought the characters in my story to life, everyone seemed to really nail their characters, I particularly enjoyed my highly charged in-character- argument with Leckard/Alex...and I can't wait to hear the finished products!
Oh and, of course, nice seeing everyone again, and in the case of Alex, Dave, Mike and Ant, for the first time.Last edited by Martin Penny; 14th Apr 2008 at 12:11 PM.

I had a great time too, thank you to Si and Simon for being the perfect hosts as ever, and it was good to see everyone once again (particularly Mike for the first time). I didn't do much in the way of recording this time but there's always next time, I'll be really looking forward to seeing people bring my first (co-written) script to life...
Dave Tudor, Ant Cox, Oh! Martin Penny and I braved the Timelash... edited highlights will appear before the month is out, I'm sure. As for the Zygon horror porn... oh dear.
