Default Bargains! Network Sale Time - The complete Avengers for a Tenner!

The all-new thread for posting lovely bargains that you might find across the t'internet or in the shops! And here's a great deal to kick off if you like a beer...

16 bottles of Carlsberg for £3.99 @ Sainsburys!

Sainsburys are knocking out half-price Carlsberg - 8 for £3.99 (reduced from £7.99). However, they've also got a BOGOF offer on, so you can get another eight free - so sixteen bottles for under £4, that's 25p a bottle. Can't go wrong, really - Wayne better stock up for April...

I wonder if 'Something New For PS' will ever need a second thread?

Unless we get a load of refugees from the T-Bag Appreciation Society, probably not.

Not at all, PS wholeheartedly supports Fantom Films It's a just a shame we're short on T-Bag fans, otherwise we'd be rolling in commission.

A 4 gig pen drive for £9.99 at DVD.co.uk is pretty good value.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?

If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

    Trumptonshire: Box Set (Box Set) - £10.89 @ Sendit.com

It's a toss up between that and the Confessions of... Box Set for me. How's that for a DVD bargain buying dilemma?

I'd get Trumpton. Anything but Askwith.

But then there is Linda Hayden to consider, i suppose.

I've also still got my eye on the Ultimate Hammer Box Set that's been going cheap in HMV since last October. 21 discs for £40 would be a cheap, cool and awesome way to top up my DVD backlog pile thingy.

There's still loads left in Nottingham HMV as well. (And loads in 'Zavvi' for another £20) Shame i've already got most of 'em. I've got all the 'horrors', so i'd be paying £40 for about 5 'thrillers' that are in there. And i've seen them anyway.

I'm going to shock you all now by admitting that I don't own the Hammer box set. Yes, it's true. I feel like I've let you all down. It's a bargain alright, and I would buy it, but I simply have no interest in it whatsoever.

I really should've bought it by now, but I'm still working my way through the Amicus/Tigon/Pete Walker/Norman Warren box sets I bought back in January 2006. Only about eight films to watch!

The Amicus one's alright, except for the apalling The Beast Must Die, & at least the Tigon one has Blood On Satan's Claw.
Norman Warren is only of interest for Candace Glendenning in Satan's Slave though. And Pete Walker's best film The Flesh and Blood Show isn't even included. (IIRC?) Mind you, it's still pretty crap.

From Money Saving Expert, as spotted by Jody (she insisted I credit her!)

Argos currently have the darlek voice changer mask reduced from £29.99 to £9.99

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...DOCTOR+WHO.htm

but they also have an offer on where if you purchase certain doctor who products you get a cyberman figure free (worth £17.99)

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...DOCTOR+WHO.htm

So you get both for £9.99.

I went and got mine this afternoon, so can vouch that the offer works.

    Hope that helps someone xxxx
Jody collected these items today and it does work.
