    I'm really enjoying it.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Me too! I like the idea of fans turning murderous (I've been in a queue for Rufus Wainwright's autograph so I know about these things!) and the incidental music is great. Nice to hear Nyssa getting lots to do - this would have been the ideal time to have let her hair down a bit, but alas her Traken dignity was preserved!

The Justice of Jalxar. Great Victorian adventure! Tom and Mary are in great form as are Baxter & Benjamin. The Doctor, Romana, Jago and Litefoot in hot pursuit of a vigilante on motorised roller-skates (!) and dodging a steam-powered robot.

    Return of the Rocket Men
Beautifully performed by Peter Purves, who does a great impersonation of Bill Hartnell. The plotline is rather obvious (I'd worked most of it half-way through part one) but the story is so well told I didn't mind. Also, space pilot Steven Taylor gets to do some actual space-piloting, which makes a change. Overall, 7/10.

The Cannibalists, and the Eight Truths Ep 1- the latter is very weird to listen to, given that I finished Hand of Peace about 6 months before it came out.

Ghosts in the Machine by Johnny Morris

A really creepy Companion Chronicles tale with Jo Grant - featuring Louise Jameson's directorial debut. Katy Manning really does have 1000 voices in her head - she uses some of them in this recording!

Catching up with Gallifrey V... I'd put this off after DWM slated it but I'm really enjoying it. Right now Leela is talking to Rani from the Sarah Jane Adventures

I got distracted by the new Blakes 7 set, so I'll be back to Gallifrey shortly.

So do I; about two-thirds of them are currently singing Sospan Fach. You don't want to know what the others are doing...

    The Space Race

A rather wonderful Sixie & Peri story - the ended of Part 1 is a real jaw-dropper and there are lots of other twists & turns along the way thanks to Johnny Morris' inventive plotting.

So far the "1963" series of audios have been excellent. The next one sees the Counter Measures team hooking up with The Doctor & Ace again, so looking forward to that too!

I'm halfway through The Assassination Games - and excellent stuff it is too! Really moody & intriguing, with The Doctor & Ace both going undercover, Counter Measures involved and an alien menace in charge of nuclear warheads.

Sorry to say but for me the second half of Assassination Games fell a bit flat. I really am trying hard to like Sylv's Doctor (honest) but in this story it felt like he was going through the motions and just reading a script - all the intonation was in all the wrong places. Two of my pet hates were prevalent throughout all this story - Sylv rrrrrrrolling is rrrrrrrrrrs (I'm sure he's getting worse!) and Ace calling him "Professor" - I cringe everytime she does it.

On the plus side, it's always good to listen to the Counter Measures team and the plot was an intriguing, complex one - resulting in the long overdue Info Dump in Part 4!

Of these anniversary stories, I've much preferred Fanfare & The Space Race.

Just finished Power of the Daleks. Loved it! I was surprised just how different Troughton sounded in this episode. Of course he was finding his feet, but he really did come across as "other worldly" rather than cosmic hobo (as much as I hate that phrase!!)

I would now like to alter a list. Previously, Marco Polo was top of my pile for a return to the archives. It's now Power :-)

    The King of Sontar

Good solid start to S3. Tom & Louise in fine form, and nice to hear the Sontarans being nasty again!

Just because the Sontarans are being nasty, i looked it up to see if they'd hired Dan Starkey!

    There he is!

    And David Collings!

I shall have to keep an eye out for this...
