We've been listening to Tom Baker read The Brain of Morbius while we decorate, which was great fun. Now we've got William Russell reading... And the Daleks. It's great!

Yes, that is a good one.

I've been listening to Geoffrey Beevers read The Doomsday Weapon. Much better than Caroline John was with the Cave Monsters. In fact it's very entertaining. Almost makes we want to watch Colony in Space.

I watched 9 minutes from a Noel Edmond "Gotcha" on Mr Pertwee back in 1994 - It's on youtube and was good fun to see - I'd recommend it to all Pert enthusiasts

Sorry if I'm not on the right thread - whatever!

I wonder how it got there. And yes, you're on totally the wrong thread.

I've been listening to The Myth Makers. I'm going to say something shocking - it's not as bad as I always used to say. It's not great, but it's not bad. Very little happens really, they arrive, Vicki meets a bloke, the Doctor invents the Trojan Horse, cue the obvious, Vicki stays on, the end. The comedy isn't as hilarious as some say ("You can't say woe to the horse" indeed) either. They could probably do it much better now.

It's interesting that Katarina thinks she's going to her death - did the writers know her fate? I'd assume so...

The first scene Adrienne Hill filmed was her death scene, so I'd guess so.

She filmed her death scene for DMP #4 before the recording of the Myth Makers #4? I never knew that

Do you think her agent rang her up and said, "Good news - bad news. I've got you a gig as a companion on Doctor Who, but your first day's filming is your death scene."

Thanks to Pip's recommendation on the Bargains thread, I recently picked up The Reign of Terror (audio) for £2.99. It's a story I'm only passingly familiar with, one which I've only ever seen the existing episodes of once (and that was 15+ years ago), and so it's almost 'as new' to an extent. I'm two episodes in so far, and rather enjoying it.

Whilst travelling to & from my Mum & Dad's last week. i listened to 'The Dinosaur Invasion' Target Audiobook. Good fun it was too, & quite nostalgic. You forget all the little extra bits character background that you get in the novelizations. Right down to the Scottish football fan/drunkard who gets killed right near the beginning.

It's good isn't it? I loved Martin Jarvis's impressions of the regulars. They all seemed pretty spot on to me. It's my favourite out of the ones I've heard.

I listened to part 4 of The Reign of Terror last night. I may have heard Ronald Pickup as the Physician.

I've been having a listen to Creature from the Pit read by Tom. It's really a rather good novelisation and Tom's K9 and Adastra are brilliant!
I have to say I'm loving these talking Target books!

I'd love to get these! I can't really afford them at the moment, maybe when they come down in price...

I've been listening to "Giant Robot". It's nice hearing Tom but it's not as much fun as the original soundtrack.

Last night I listened to 'The Condemned'. Interesting putting Charley Pollard together with Doc6. I wonder how they'll explain away Doc8 not remembering her in Storm Warning!

Just got through the first CD of '100', great stuff.

Any speculation on what the secret Doctor Who project that's been referred to at Big Finish? I'm hoping for Tom Baker audios but doubt that'll be it.

I'm two episodes into The Enemy of the World. It's an odd little tale, but rather good. Although I hadn't noticed Troughton's shameless flirting with Astrid in episode 1 before...
